Used PS4 Cameras Selling For $100 on eBay

Has anyone else noticed this? I think there might be some kind of shortage of PS4 cameras right now. On eBay, used PS4 cameras are selling for around $100 on auction and new/unopened ones are going for as much as $135. The retail price for them is only $59.99 so something weird is going on.

No, I think it's more than that. I've gone to Amazon, Walmart, and Target and they're all sold out of PS4 cameras. I think there's a shortage of them right now so they're hard to find. The used cameras on Amazon are also selling for over $100 each.

I walked into my local GameStop and they have about 20 of them sitting on the shelf, brand new, for $59.99. Maybe its just a "local" outage of them?

Yikes that seems really epensive as far I am concerned, I definitely wouldn't buy it from ebay.

I just went to a store yesterday and saw them just restocked the camera, I don't think it's due to shortage. Like someone said, just some dudes trying to mark up the price and hope that someone foolish enough to buy one.

No, it's not just one guy or a few guys that have some listed with high BIN prices. Literally every single ebay auction for a PS4 camera gets bid up to over $100. You can't buy a PS4 camera on ebay for under $100 right now. Look for yourself if you don't believe me.

I haven't checked my local stores, but every online retailer I can think of is sold out of them. Amazon, Best Buy, Target, Walmart, Gamestop, etc are all sold out on their websites.

If I were you, I would buy all 20 of them and resell them on ebay to double your money. I might try to find some locally to resell, but I already know from checking online that there are none in stock at Gamestop, Walmart, Kmart, or Best Buy in my area.

Ballsy guy, that's a risky approach for a peripheral. The system itself sure, I'll admit I picked up a few to resell but then you can be sure you're getting your money back. I wouldn't trust the market to be desperate enough for peripherals though.

Who knows how long the market will be that desperate for PS4 cameras, but right now it is. I didn't buy any extra PS4 consoles, but this current PS4 camera shortage is seemingly bigger than the shortage of consoles when it launched. I read somewhere that the shortage will last until March and then there will be more supply of PS4 cameras. According to NowInStock.net, Amazon hasn't had any PS4 cameras since December 11th and Gamestop's site hasn't had them in stock since December 16th so this shortage has been going on for a while.
