How effective has it been to you? I must say that it was pretty difficult to me and I would have always exchanged it for a mouse and a keyboard.

well its a fact for FPS and RTS, mouse and keyboard > controller, i got used to it though.
but for other genres i prefer controller.

Well, if you're used to playing with a mouse and a keyboard then it will take some time to getting used to, but even if though I've played a lot of shooters using a PS controller, I still prefer the accuracy of a mouse and keyboard combo.
It easier, but I prefer the challenge of the controller. Even on computer shooters/fp games I use me ps3 controller.

I didn't think of it that way though, but when it comes to using controllers on a PC, I prefer the Xbox controller over the PS, I kinda like the analog sticks on the Xbox more.

Forget it. I've tried using it while playing BF4 and it was really difficult. However, the others are having as many problems as I do.

When you're used to PC Gaming I'd definitely take the PC Mouse and Keyboard over the controller by far, but when you're playing RPG games such as Skyrim or something similar, I'd definitely pick the controller due to the more comfortable gaming solution. I'm more of a fan of the PS3 controller for Windows rather than PS4, but that's just the thing, I've played much more with a PS3 controller on Android and Windows than I have with a PS4 controller by far.

Yeah, PC>Consoles for FPS games just like PC<Consoles for racing games. It feels really odd playing on a PS4 when you've been playing on a PC for even just a couple of hours. I find myself strafing while aiming down sights on consoles a lot more than I'd like to. That's not really a problem for PC. It's not too bad though. I heard the Steam controller isn't that great at FPS games either.

Been using the sticks for aiming since PS1 so it's like second nature to me. I remember when I first started it felt uncomfortable and awkward too but it's nothing that getting used to can't overcome. I just needed to learn to use both sticks to adjust for the aim. On the contrary, if I were to use a mouse now I may not be able to aim properly lol.

It's just a question of getting used to it. I've played console games since 2010 and using a controller is perfectly normal and comfortable for me.

I have never been a PC gamer, always console. So controllers feel natural to me and I am so much better with them. I can not do anything with a keyboard and mouse.

A mouse and keyboard is always going to be easier to use and is much more accurate, but I prefer using a controller. I can relax on the sofa with my controller, and as I have been using pretty much the same controller for 15 years now, I am pretty good with it.

i guess that a video game called deep with project morpheus is using the ps4 controller with the bluetooth as a gun.

It's fine. As everyone else is saying a mouse and keyboard is better, obviously, but if everyone else is using a PS4 Controller then I do not see what the problem is. It isn't like others are using a mouse and keyboard and having the advantage over you. I shouldn't have to tell you to practice and eventually it'll work out. It might not be mouse/keyboard good, but it'll be controller good; which is all it has to be.
