Video Game Character Crushes

Ever had a crush on a video game character? I did in my younger years. It's kind of difficult to explain since they are drawings so I didn't really get attracted to them in the traditional sense, but I do find some of them pretty. Of the common ones, my favorite was always Chun-Li, which I think is pretty self explanatory. Also, I remember having a fascination for Rinoa (FF8) for some reason. It was probably mostly due to the graphics being so well done for the standard at the time.

Anyone out there ever had a video game "crush"?

Hmm, It's honestly very difficult to develop any sort of video game crush. Most of the time you deal with either.. animals/creatures that are of female gender, or females in fully clothed army attire. The closest sort of development of some sort of preference, may be Allison from heavy rain, but even she isn't totally attractive in my opinion.

I was pretty fascinated by Claire from Resident Evil 2. Not attracted, per se, but drawn to the character. It wasn't even that interesting, looking back to it, but I guess it was a quite strong female character, which was rare those days.

Also liked Lightning, but only in a passing way, I don't think it's a well developed character, and it lacks the depth needed for the main role in the game. Oh well, FFXIII was not very good in many aspects, although the artistic design was quite good.

I don't think I've ever had a videogame crush which is weird since I've had crushes in other entertainment formats like movies, tv shows and books. They're becoming increasingly rare... Maybe it's a secondary effect of getting old.

Tifa from FF7, but I really don't think I'm alone there. I also liked Alys from Phantasy Star 4 and the last girl I dated even looked like her.

Elizabeth from Bioshock Infinite, oh that face will haunt my dreams forever. I mean the facial animation is too damn good that she can pass for a human! Just kidding but I really have a huge crush on Elizabeth

Yuna from FFX and Maria from Star Ocean 3 are hot, while Ridley from Radiata Stories is cute. But then again, having a crush on a video game character is a feeling of infatuation.

I remember when I was growing up, I had a huge crush on Mimi from Digimon. Kind of embarrassing to admit that really, especially it continued for some time, long enough for her to get the pink hair in the second series.

Hmm...never really had a crush as such I guess, but if I had to choose, I'd say Cloud Strife, Leon from Resident Evil, and...Altair and Ezio from the Assassin's Creed series.

Keeping the thread PG, but 90s fighting game vixens were all my crushes. Chun Li, Kitana/Meleena, Cammy, Morrigan, and Mai from Fatal Fury.

I really don't think I have ever had a crush on a video game character. I never got into the whole cartoon thing. I've had crushes as a child on movie characters, etc- so long as they were live action actors, but I don't really find myself attracted to cartoon characters or anything CG related.

I never did but I didn't play many games in my formative years. I had to find my crushes elsewhere but I did find them.
