Vita Accessories

This is so important and I forgot to mention it in any of the prior threads. My buddy got a nice case for his Vita. One of the selling points of the Vita is its motion mechanics and touch screen mechanics it can add to a game. Though I'm a bit skeptical of the value in these things, the screen is so nice you don't want it to be scratched by being tossed about your backpack and the such. There were some nice cases at Target that I noticed last time I was there.

This is one accessory you need day 1!! Protect your investment.

I agree. I never paid attention to accessories before as I prefer to keep basic, but nowadays I'm seeing more accessories and they are getting pretty neat. Even the most basic of accessories like a transparent screen protector wasn't too available, if at all, at the time when PSP was getting popular. I was browsing for PS Vita info before and I came across one that I think is a must-have. It's the grip that makes the console feel like a controller which probably comes in handy for long hours of playing, and I think the best thing about it is that it elevates the Vita from the table which prevents scratches and smudges. If this were available for the PSP back then I would have been all over it. I'm going to buy one when I get a Vita.

Bumping this thread instead of making a new one. I saw this article which is admittedly a little old, but I thought it was pretty interesting nonetheless. Vita apparently got some cool new official accessories fairly recently, and they seem basic but still look very nice in my opinion.

I like to get accessories on all my handheld devices. I mean they make a difference when you are actually using them. However I agree that you never really notice a great accessory until you actually need it.
