Should still be an amazing game it's not just about the graphics!

This x10. If the gameplay delivers that's the most important thing, graphics are just an experience enhancer. Personally I think the graphics look great for Watch Dogs. You'd swear Ubisoft made the game for PS1 and were pushing it for PS4/PS3 as is the way some people discuss how it looks.

I will say that the absence of a jump button is odd though.

Yeah people seem WAY, WAY too obsessed with the graphics in a game.

Not sure about no jump button although maybe it's to stop the stupid halo-esque running/jumping to try and avoid gunfire which looks kinda crazy but works on a lot of FPS games?

After watching some videos on YouTube about this game I have to say that I am rally excited to see how this game would really go because to me it looks like it will be a very good game. I do however say that like the others that I hope that this game is not just a clone of Assassins Creed. I really hope that this game is unique and has a very good storyline. Even if it doesn't though I still think that the potential of the game is good because it still in its own way gives your a unique experience. I mean I have never really played as a hacker in a video game before. I hope it is a good game and I guess when it releases we will just get to see. I am looking forward to it.

I agree it looks like a day 1 buy for me.

Actually I dont plan on getting Watchdogs,not on day one anyway,perhaps at a later date when I can get it cheaper.
I do plan on getting Wolfenstein and The Last of Us though ASAP.

Not really. I haven't seen footage of multiplayer in action and we know very little about the story. We still don't know the depth of hacking, and what different activities there are outside of hacking, shooting, and driving. There's still a lot more things that's been kept under wraps.

I can't wait for this game to come out. I think it is a fairly original take on what we have already seen (essentially GTA inspired games with a twist). But I think their 'twist' is going to add some really cool game play features that we have not yet seen and will hopefully give a hole new layer to the game. I also like the fact that people can just join your game and hack you seems like it could either be the best thing ever or the worst. Probably the best when you are hacking others and the worst when you have been hacked.

Youtube can output HD quality videos these days, so it is possible to fully see what's happening, just you know, not the best of ideas.

It gives HD Quality but only up to 30 fps not 60.

Plus rendering takes a toll. The only true way to give a realistic showing would be to have videos done outside youtube or the actual game broadcasted to a live audience.

I'm the same. The story looks to be interesting i'll give it that, but then there's been no details of what else there is to do apart from the above, and like don said i'm reserving judgement just for now about the game as i fear it's just like he said. Hacking, driving, shooting.

Well you never know. It being a Ubisoft open world game they usually have a number of side quests or mini games that don't include hacking.

I hope so. One of my favourite games is Driver San Francisco, and despite it being a driving game, they still managed to make the gameplay interesting with various things to do, so i am being positive Ubisoft do the same with watchdogs

I was really concerned that Watchdogs would be a PS3.5 game. I figured that since they were making it for both consoles, the next (current) gen would be less than it could be. My reasoning was "I don't want to play a game that's even possible on the current gen".

I've been interested in this game since I first heard about it. It looks like there will be a lot to keep us interested for a while, and despite all that has been shown, I think there's still a trick or two up their sleeve that will keep us on our toes. Definitely looking forward to the release.

Well it was developed with next-gen in mind. I believe that was one of the reasons for delaying the game so many times way to ensure it was next-gen ready. To be honest at this stage in the game, most of the games will preform better on next-gen but can still do well on current gen.

This is my concern as well. If it's the case, I'll pass. They did say it took a long time to do all the things in the game (can't remember how many hours), but never mentioned if there are side activities. Hmm.
