What Do You Think of PS Now?

The PS Now Beta has been out for a bit already and I was wondering what people thought of the service. In my opinion there's not many good games on it at the moment, aside from that the prices are ridiculously high. I planned on trying it out with a random game, but I decided I'd rather pay full price to keep the game than pay their prices to have it for a few weeks.
Has anyone tried to rent a game? How's the streaming?

I don't think it will be around very long. If they lowered the prices big time and gave you an option to buy it at the end of your rental it might have a chance. It's like they don't realize that the games (the ones that I saw anyhow) are not worth more the $20. So that is going to have to be the top of the mark for purchase prices. A 90 rental can't be anymore then $12.50 to $15.00 with a $5.00 buy out if they have any hopes of making it work.

Not interested in streaming.
right now internet in most of the world is slow enough to crap a gaming session. Also you should consider the number of servers and how far there are from your place.
So I wont waste any money on this service, considering I already owned a perfect PS3 and completed whichever game I wanted :P

Its not in AUS,dunno if it ever will, but even then,Im not personally interested in it either.

I think it could be big as so many are wanting to play older games and this will be the only way. I know some sites show a few of the "exceptions" with the crazy prices, but I looked around some and most of the prices are reasonable. I would like to see a "buy option".

For how I play most games, spending $60 to buy one and stop playing it after a few weeks or renting it for $15-$20 for 90 days is about the same. I am not a collector type.

I've rented a couple games off of PSNow mostly just to try it and it worked well, everyone will bitch and Moab about prices no matter what, if it was cheaper you guys would just be whinin that it wasn't free.
Yeah yeah we all know cheaper is better (except when it comes I hookers) but get over it. The price is what it is for now.
The streaming was good, I did notice a couple latency issues on some faster paced games (dirt 3) and longer-ish loading times but it remained playable.

If it was a monthly charge it would might be worth it.

I thought about this too... but my biggest thing was that I'm already paying for my Playstation Plus subscription... Don't really want to dish out any more, and personally the selection wasn't anything to my liking (I'm sure others enjoy some of the games on there)

I gave it a shot with a couple rentals, and I was impressed by how smooth things seemed to run. However, I'm not a fan of the current pricing structure, and the service is probably destined to fail sooner rather than later. It's a good concept that will likely be crippled by poor pricing structures more than anything else. There are ways to make PS Now work, and Sony isn't exactly implementing those methods.

I have to agree with this,

I really ain't interested in this and it isn't available in the UK either so I'm kind of like 'meh'

To overpriced and it doesn't even have some of their trademark games like uncharted. (last time i checked)
