What game do you miss the most?

What games do you guys miss the most back in the days when you played the PS1 or even the PS2?
Like maybe you miss how a series turned out to be and how they changed it so much.

Ratchet and Clank or Sly Cooper.
Story was amazing for me because I was a little boy, completed both games a couple of times and would do it again. :)

The first Suikoden game. I have recurring memories over that game, such as when the bodyguard of the hero sacrifices himself to save his friends and later gets revived. Revival is only possible if you are able to recruit all 108 characters, and they must all be alive. If they perish during the game, your chances of reviving that person are eliminated.

I really miss the Kingdom Hearts games. I don;t have a PS2 anymore and haven;t played those games in close to 10 years. I would love to spend a weekend or 2 beating both of those games again.

I mostly miss the PS1 games that I have played back when I was in first year and second year high school. I miss playing Tenchu and the awe and wonder that I felt as I was able to dispose of enemies using different methods as I saw fit. I miss playing MonsterSeed and its Pokemon style of play and great gameplay. I miss playing Xenogears and experiencing its rich and wonderful story. I miss a lot of games. I miss my PS1. I'm gonna play some games using my emulator later.

Sniff.... :(

I almost always miss playing the classics in the PS2 games. For instance I frequently tend to memorize of the Devil May Cry. It always made my mood. I wish it could ever come back.

The good old PS1 games. Those were definitely simpler times where the graphics on those PS1 games had completely blown me away. Now we sit here fretting about 720p and fps on consoles. :(

Marvel Nemesis. Me and my friends used to play it a lot, and I hate that they discontinued it. I remember even the single player mode in it was fun and challenging, but I suppose it just did not have enough charisma to captivate audiences. Still a shame, though, the rooftop stage was like Super Smash Brothers on steroids.

I miss my copies of Kindgom Hearts 1 and 2. I used to play them for hours on end, but once I was in college and was short on money, I sold them. (I would have rather skipped the sushi meal and kept the games now that I think about it.) I am looking into getting the games again, especially since the PS4 will have the third installment of the series. Luckily I still have the memory cards with all of the save files, so I can pick up where I left off.

The original CoD4 MW for sure. I was first introduced to FPS games via Halo but CoD4 MW is what really got me hooked. I have the playstation to thank for that. :)

Dragon Quest VIII. I wish I got to playing Ni No Kuni, because what I've seen from that it looks a lot like DQVIII style-wise.

So damn true...so damn true.

There's no other game that I miss more than Onimusha. The trilogy had an epic story while the fourth one was great it didn't have the same awesomeness in terms of storyline. I miss that Capcom no longer cares about Onimusha.

Resident evil on ps1.
I was in a mates who had a ps1 an seen that so went straight the shop an got a ps1 an the game. Loved the story an the creepiness.

Spyro the Dragon for the PlayStation 1 (PS1 or PSX) (the very first one that came out September, 1998. I still play the hell out of that game every day! I liked the others too, but the first one was the most fun. I miss the old simple game days that had cheesy graphics, sometimes it makes me teary eyed, because it reminds me of my childhood and I want to go back to it. Even though how bad my childhood was, I would still go back if I had a choice.

I actually miss Onimusha too. I figured it was a game that would be cut or scaled back as sales were never all that hot for it compared to Resident Evil, Mega Man, and Street Fighter.

For me, it would have to be the first three Tomb Raider's and the first two Resident Evil's. I played those for countless numbers of hours and they're games which even though I've not played them fully for years, I still know the layouts of the levels, the puzzles and probably most of the secrets too.

Both series have changed a lot over the years and whilst Tomb Raider appears to be getting back towards being on the right track again, Resident Evil seems to be diluted to the point it's no longer survival horror. It’s just yet another FPS, maybe with tenuous links to it's past. FPS's are a genre that I think has been so heavily over saturated over the last five or six years, now...

I also dearly miss Quake 2 (the deathmatches I had with my friend were immense - still remember a lot of of the music!) and Command & Conquer - particularly Red Alert. There just isn't anything quite like these two out there today...
