What games need to make a comeback on the PS4?

The PS4 has got a lot of gamers hyped. The PS4 would be another milestone for Sony and at the same time a new beginning for the entity. After a tumultuous PS3 issues, Sony aims to bounce back and regain the top spot of the gaming industry. To do that, I think that it is just but right for Sony to revive some games that never stepped to the next generation of consoles. What games do you want to see revived on the PS4?

I'd love to see,

A older school syphon filter reborn
Kingdom Hearts game that is exclusive

What else they could do:
Better RPGs then last season (time to stop relying on final fantasy series as its been a long time since they've made a really good one)
Make Socom as good as it was on the ps2
Exclusive resident evil 4 type game.


I'm sure their is more but Sony has to stop being lazy, how late was twisted metal to the scene or grand turismo. They need to get these titles out early (not years after launch) and launch with some pretty outstanding games. My biggest fear when it comes to revitalized series is that they feel they need to change it up so much that you lose the feel of what made the series great.

I would like a kingdoms heart game that is exclusive. Would also be nice to have a proper remake to Black. I don't think a ton of games should be remade. I don't want them to lose their luster.

I'd love to see them bring back Kagero, because I thought that was a very unique and fun game and I never understood why it remained so unknown. Another one that I like very much but people rarely give credit to is rival schools. I know it's not as good as other fighting games, but it was equally as fun and entertaining in my opinion. I hope they make updated versions of these and games like these because most of the titles out there right now don't appeal to me very much because most of them are just shooting games.

I want a Dynasty Warriors. It's probably a strange request given all of the the other much better games out there, but I've always been a fan of it, I just think it needed a lot of improvements - would like to see a revamped version for the PS4! I also want to see Gran Turismo and Metal Gear Solid, because they are both classics. I love skateboard games too, so want to see an awesome skating game.

If they make a new Duke Nukem, that would be nice. Since DN: Forever, it was quite terrible. But they may be able to make a really good new game. I really hope they bring it back. Utilizing the PS4's new graphics system, too.

Final Fantasy Versus and Kingdom Hearts 3.

Bough a ps3 for them, but they never showed up... I know that Square-Enix is being retarded this last couple of years, but i hope they at least know that if they release any of those two, they would sell like hot cakes.

I want to see some of the early final fantasy games remade and released on the playstation 4. I'd really like to see Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII remade. I loved the original games but I think that Square Enix would now be able to do some amazing stuff with them using all the new technology that has come out since then. I think the games would be absolutely gorgeous with some vamped up graphics and a remixed sound track. But they would have to be careful that they didn't ruin the game, because that would be really disappointing.

I really like some of the ideas so far in this thread. A new FF7/FF8 would be amazing, as would a proper Duke Nukem game that doesn't contain all the worst features of modern military shooters (two weapons only, linear cutscene-driven storyline).

Great suggestions guys. There are a lot of old games that really could make it big in the next generation of consoles. I agree that ff7 and 8 would look great if it was updated to the next generation. Include ff9 to the list too.
