What Is Your Favorite Game of All Time?

Vice City Stories was everything I actually wanted in a GTA game, but only fell short on the size of the map (which is understandable).

Agreed 100%! VC Stories was so much fun and had a degree of gang and business management going on. I would've just made a long ass 80s line up for GTA.

That's a hard choice to make but I love Final Fantasy. The stories are always beautiful and the graphics are just as delicious. Though even since FF13... it was all down hill.

OH my you guys are so young!! The most rewarding game I ever beat was Mike Tyson Punchout.
Hands down one of the crowning achievements of my childhood.

Fun game and I played the crap out of it. Just don't think it has enough content to go up against games that have evolved into huge open worlds.Yeah it was a really fun game, just not enough content in my opinion.

Sometimes I still pull it out and play it. Mike is STILL hard to beat!

My fav game of all time... the one I could play again and again and gave me the most satisfaction... was The Legend of Zelda - A Link to the Past. OMG on the weekends I would play that game c-o-n-t-i-n-u-o-u-s-l-y. Love it. I still remember the commercials when Link used the Ether. I can hear the music in my head now. Well, honestly it's the overworld music in the Dark World, I guess because I spent a lot of my days over there, wandering aimlessly looking for the next level. Or frustrated at the water level that was like 6-7-8 levels high. Or the incessant beeping when you've taken too much damaged and have half a heart left, scared to go into the next room, but you have to because you need to get a heart somehow and staying in the room you're in ain't gonna do it.

I wish they could capture the essence of that game, make the graphics as alluring as they were back then, and updated it for 2015. Yep, 2015.

My runner up might be Metroid: Prime.

I'm going with Pokemon, I played it a lot when I was younger and I still enjoy it playing it now, it's really timeless. :)

My favorite game is Sunset Riders, and I've never played it. Was the game my wife was playing at the arcade when I met her lol

Sentimental BS aside; I'd say it's either Space Quest III or Monkey Island

Spellforce (the first one not the second), with all the expansion packs. It was great and I got very addicted to it for a while. I really loved the female elves and their frozen arrows. Reminded me of LOTR a bit.

My favorite game of all time is either Baldur's Gate II or Fallout 2, they are pretty similar so it's hard to pick.
I spent so much time on those two games, and restarted so many times that I still know the optimal way to do the starting quests by memory.

The unanswerable question .....

For me, it would be impossible to choose between 3 games:

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (About 7 years ahead of it's time! Amazing game)
Half Life (Revolutionised FPS games and the story was more in depth than anything else that had been created at this point)
Counter Strike (A spin off of Half Life but I would hate to think how many hours I spent playing this game. It will be up in the thousands across CS and CS:Source I would imagine!)

There are so many amazing games I've played though.

I just keep thinking of more I could have put in this list!

Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King
Hitman 2: Silent Assassin
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Honorable Mention: Super Punch-Out

That's a pretty set order too. Man, were those Zelda games something back in the day

and Dragon Quest VIII from PS2.
Nice!

If I had to pick one I'd have to say Super Mario RPG and Skyrim.

This is kind of a hard pick for me because I play quite a few games that I really enjoy and absolutely love. I would have to say either Oracle of Ages or Knights of the Old Republic because both are games that I have spent countless hours on having a blast. Ages was one of the first games I played and actually went back through recently and Knights was one that I heard was good and finaly decided to just try it out.

GTA games, they probably don't bore me out like any other games out there, and GTA games are awesome with a lot of features and such.

It's ridiculously hard to pick one game or even a short list since in one generation you would've played 10's of games. THEN if you've been playing for years and further back you've got an even bigger list. It's best to just name series lol.

Oracle of Ages was great, by the way.
