What makes a PS4 disc unreadable

Hello guys, i have a problem. Sometimes when i stopped playing PS4 and put the disc in to it's box, i don't feel comfortable, i check back part of the disc and i make this often, does this make disc unreadable, or can it damages disc(sorry for my english if i have any problem)

If you arent scratching the disk, then there is no issue. If all you do is put it back into the case properly then you are good to go. I'm not sure what you are talking about. You are worried that you might ruin the disk by putting it into the case?

o.O actually I didnt get your question.

but blurays are quite scratch resistant, it is hard to damage them, to be honest I havent seen a damaged bluray yet(and I buy quite a lot of second hand games).
Putting it in a case wont damage it, it will keep it more safe.

An obvious reason why a disc would be unreadable is because it may be scratched. Your disk drives lens could also be dirty so try giving that a clean if your disc looks fine.

If you have an unplayable bluray disc (PS4 game) then I applaud you and would like to know how you managed it.

Probably the biggest reason for a disc to be unreadable, is the Blu Ray laser, Blu Ray disc's are quite resistant to scratches, but they are not invulnerable and can get damaged, however, taking the game in and out of its case will not damage it.

I picked up watchdogs at target on Tuesday, and when I got home and opened the game, there was a nasty looking blemish in it, and obviously it wouldn't play. This was a manufacturer defect tho.

Did you try to return it? Video game sellers have a return policy within a certain amount of days. Kinda sucks that happened to you though. That's a pretty rare case.

Oh yeah, Target exchanged it no problem. That's the first time I have ever had that happen. It's definitely rare.
