What Playstation exclusives are you expecting to be released on the PS4?

I know this may be a bit forward thinking when the system hasn't even launched yet. But Sony has built a big cluster of franchises they've built over the time of the first 3 Playstation systems. Of course, not all of them come over to every iteration of the system. But which long time franchises do you hope/expect to see come to the PS4?

For me, there is one franchise that comes to mind that that I'm almost sure will come to the PS4. And that franchise is Syphon Filter. Sony I'm sure has seen the wants of games through the net. One of the games that everyone wanted announced on the PS3 was indeed Syphon Filter.

So I'm almost certain it will make a PS4 appearance.

Wow so I checked out that Siphon Filter game because I had never heard of it before and it looks pretty darn awesome, I'd love to see a new version on PS4.
As for other exclusives well I'd really like to see Media Molecule make something for PS4, it doesn't even have to be LBP. Also I know this wasn't a playstaion exclusive but it was best on PS3, a new Red Dead game would be pretty cool I suppose.

You never heard of Syphon Filter until now? In a way, that's not shocking. It was a great series. But it wasn't advertised much. As for Media Molecule. I'm sure they are working on something totally new. But I surely expect a new LBP to hit the PS4 at some point.

Not really expecting but rather hoping for a Crash Bandicoot game. It's been far too long since we had a good one and the PS4 has a lot of cool features like the sensor thing the DualShock 4 that could be used in some really fun ways.

They've already said that the tech demo they showed at the PS4 reveal was the tech demo for their next game. So they're going 3D Play Create Share, baby!

As for LBP3, it's almost confirmed it'll be worked on by Sumo digital (they did Sonic All stars racing and a lot of the DLC for LBP2).

Anyway... I want that stuff lol. Otherwise, mostly new stuff that doesn't need to subscribe to old franchises.

Also, would love a crossover platformer or adventure game (love crossovers but don't like fighters. Plus it'd help in it not being "The Sony Smash Bros")

I'd like another Yakuza and Katamari game, actually. The creative juices on those franchises have kind of run dry recently, but like other IP I know there is also a lot of untapped potential. I can't help but look at GTAV and think, "Man, the Yakuza guys really need to up their game." We are also pretty starved for clever puzzle games, and the Sony-exclusive Katamari games have been among my favorites. Though the creator left long ago, there is an opportunity for Namco to make something new with some fresh blood. Maybe the incoming money from Tales of Xillia will help that along.

I would expect basically current franchises like Uncharted, LittleBigPlanet, Sly Cooper, Ratchet & Clank, etc. Inevitable I guess.

This isn't going to happen. Mostly because Sony and Naughty Dog don't own the IP. Universal owned it and gave it to Activision. Which is why any of the later Crash games didn't turn out so well. The only chance of getting a new Crash would be for Sony to literally buy it off Activision. And even though Activision show they don't care about the IP, you know they'll be as greedy as they can and milk it for the sale value.

I expect all the major franchises of Sony to return like God of War, Uncharted and Gran Turismo. I also would like to see SOCOM to return. And of course, I also would like to see a continuation of the Twisted Metal games. Though I hated the look of the TM games on the PS1, I loved them on the PS2 and the PS3. I also hope that Sony would create another RPG ala Legend of Dragoon. It would be amazing.

I'm expecting to see a lot more linear cinematic games like heavy rain.
