What PlayStation Vita color do you prefer?

What is your preference regarding the color of the PlayStation Vita? It comes in black and white, but I know a lot of people who prefer it white because bright colors seem to pop out more on a white device. There are also less finger prints on it. To be honest, I too tend to think white looks better...

What color is your favorite?

I like the black better, I think. Fingerprints are really annoying, sure, but the white looks kinda dated to me. I'd rather have to deal with fingerprints than have a dated-looking gaming device.

Sure, you can add a pole if you like to. It appears that black is more popular so far. I don't think white looks dated. I find white to be somehow more elegant.

I guess I'll go with white. Actually, the color choices are pretty boring. They need some colors with more pizazz like red, hot pink, or electric blue. The game still plays the same, but a little color personality is always fun.

They did have some mockups of 8 different colors at the Tokyo Game Setup Expo. They should put them out for real. I'm basically a black electronics person-rarely I'll go silver for DVD players but black just matches everything else.

I like the white version better, but what I'd like best is a red or blue one! The Nintendo DS has lots of colors available. Why can't the Vita?

I was looking at the prototypes on another website. The colors looked great! I liked the cherry red and the purple. They also had orange, blue, and I forget what else. I don't get why they want to use all the colors for marketing, but not to sell them.

I prefer the black Vita, the white one looks strange, to me. I wish Sony would release more colors to pick from. I think a lime or neon green, would be awesome. Maybe, they will release different colors for the Vita, later on.

I am jumping on the black Playstation Vita, bandwagon. I think black is a traditional Playstation color, and it looks sleek. The white Vita will not stay new and shiny, for long. I bet, scratches will stand out, on the white Vita.

That's what I'm thinking they'll do. To not have a wide range of colors available when basically everyone else does (including the Wii!) is just silly.

I wonder if Sony had the prototypes made in all the color choices as sort of a test market. They probably just don't want to get stuck with a ton of orange Vitas in case people don't like them. Maybe they want to see which top three or four colors get the best feedback and go with those.

They did? I never saw those... They must be pretty cool. I wish Sony would release some colored Vita consoles. If they are scared of remaining with them in stores due to people's lack of interest, they could try releasing them in a limited edition or something like that and see how the sales turn out...

Honestly, I'll be shocked if they end up with nothing but Boring White and Basic Black on the market. Everything comes in a variety of colors with choices of skins these days. The Vita shouldn't be an exception especially considering the price.

I also think that it should come in more colour choices. Black and white has gotten boring. I would probably go with white just because my ps3, ps2, psp, and wii are all black. So I guess I'd take white for the novelty. I'm also curious if colours do pop out more on a white hand-held.

I would have to say white because I have one. I more concentrate on the gameplay more than the system itself.

I got a white one myself, partially because I prefer the brighter shade, but also because the bundle I got it in (Assassin's Creed Bundle) was easily the better bundle out of the available options to me. I had a Black PSP though, and I remember how often smudges and fingerprints showed up, so I was happy to have the white vita. With regards to those that want different colors, I would suggest seeing if there are skins/stickers for the Vita as that's what I did to spruce up my old PSP!

I like the classic black. The colour does not bother me all that much but I think it looks better than the white.

I prefer the black, but both of them are boring. The generic white and black is used too much, I don't see why they can't offer any other colors. I've seen different colors of the Vita, but I don't think they're available on the market. I would definitely buy one if it was though.

I would like to the see all the other great vibrant colors being released worldwide, like orange, blue and yellow, just because there ain't enough consoles with those colors and would be a nice change of pace.
