What was the last movie you watched?

I've watched quite a few movies since my last post here so I'll be quick...

King Kong vs Godzilla - 5/10
It was ok, but very slow and at times boring. But when the two monsters go ahead, it's entertaining (and a little goofy, but that's what I love about these movies)

Mothra vs Godzilla - 6/10
Really liked Mothra as a "character". Was a good step up from the previous entry. I'm sure I'll be seeing her again ;)

Trainwreck - 6/10
It was just ok. Nothing I'd watch again. Not usually a fan of Amy Schumer but she was quite good in this. Bill Hader is always good in everything I've seen. But the biggest laughs for sure came from John Cena. That came out of nowhere. Aside from that, just the standard cliché romantic comedy Judd Apatow movie.

Unfriended - 8/10
Now this one surprised in how good it was. It was great. Thought I was goign to hate it as let's be honest, the plot and trailers don't make it seem like it's going to be good. But very surprised indeed. Short and sweet too which is a bonus. Definitely recommend it.

Get Shorty - 8/10
I like to call this the Diet-Pulp Fiction. Really enjoyed it and I'm a fan of John Travolta and this might be my favourite character he has ever portrayed. Loved the dialogue and the plot. All round, just a great crime-comedy. Definitely will watch many times. There's just one problem and it's not with this entry but...

Be Cool - 5/10
... with this one. Saw somebody on IMDB call this a Get Shorty Remix. And it is exactly that. Same plot, same events. John Travolta was still good, but his character wasn't as cool and as "imitating" as the first entry. The positives with this one is Dwayne Johnson. He was hilarious. Also Andre Benjamin (from Outkast) was pretty darn funny. Aside from that, just the same thing - remixed.

Dark was the Night

Not a bad creature feature. You didnt see much of the creature til right at the end which kinda looks a little CGish but I think overall is was quite well done.Ive seen far worse.
Far some reason I enjoyed this one more than other similar ones.

6.5/10

Dead Rising: Watchtower - 2/10

Sorry, but to me this was an absolute bore. I liked how they paid many references to the games (lots of Easter eggs and familiar "weapons") but aside from that it was just way too long and just not very interesting period.

Fantastic Four (2015) - 6.5/10

That's right. It's not a 1/10 or 3/10. I found this to be ok. Nowhere near as bad as what people are making it out to be. Although they did tend to skip over bits and plots that would of made this film more interesting, and the ending was so rushed. You know how in Superman Returns, Superman sort of didn't really fight? Same thing here. Granted, they put up a little more fighting then Supes did, but that ain't saying much. The Thing looks fantastic (no pun intended) and I don't mind the changed look for Doom. Overall, not as bad as they make it out to be, but could of been much better. Ant-Man is still my superhero movie of the year. If only they would give back the licence back to Marvel...

I like the idea of this movie, sounds like it could be interesting if you read the plot but after watching it I felt it could have been so much better.
Also I dont think Abilgail Breslin pulled this character off, didnt seem convincing enough.

Trainwreck

Nothing special.
A few funny bits,mainly Amy Schumer's dialog.

4.5/10

Air

Average.Nothing much to say.

Cop Car

2 kids find what they think is an abandoned cop car and go for a ride.
The stuff that follows with the cop trying to get it back is somewhat interesting.
Has Kevin Bacon in it.
Not bad.

THE GUEST - 6/10

It was ok. Nothing I'd probably watch again but not too bad. Great 80's vibe. The music was fantastic and Dan Stevens was really good in this. Noticed a review that's had a line from it printed onto the DVD cover of the movie describe it as "The Bourne Identity meets The Terminator". No. Not at all really.

Z for Zachariah

Read the book in my high school days for english classstudy.Dont like to read books but I liked the book back then so looked forward to this movie.
Was a little disappointed.
Main difference is there is a 3 way love triangle thing in this story which was not in the novel.
Also a little slow and boring really.

SOUTHPAW - 5/10

Wanted to like this but it was pretty average which surprised me. Heavily clichéd and every moment in this you could say that was from Rocky III - Oh that was from the training scene in Rocky IV. Basically, it was a Rocky compilation if Jake Gyllenhaal had played the title role of Balboa. Not something I'd watch again.

TURBO KID - 4/10

Unfortunately I didn't like this one very much. Had potential but just couldn't like it as much as I wanted to. What I will give it props for is the character of "Apple". She was the highlight of the movie. Plus you got Michael Ironside and that's an added bonus. But aside from that, it just didn't grab hold of me.

Love & Mercy

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0903657/

Bio movie of the Brian Wilson from the Beach Boys.
Although well done and Paul Dano playing the younger Brian Wilson did it very well its still not my type of movie.

For me,personally.Id say about an 5/10

The most on imdb rate it far higher.

I'm surprised you watched this movie. Didn't think it would of been your cup of tea (same goes for me though) :)

Well I dont mind the Beach Boys music so had to check it out.
Though as you read in my comments and score,it's not my sort of movie..as you said.

Fantastic Four

Not terrible, but not very good either.
I thought it started OK and appeared to be a little darker later on and what seems to get better all of sudden turns very average.
Feels more like a long TV episode.

Trailer:

Well done and love the 80's retro theme.Score was great too.
Only thing I did like was the post apocalyptic setting. But that's just me.
Do yourself a favor though and check it out.
Out least watch the trailer above.

A boy tries to loose his virginity quick before his parents give him up as a sacrifice.
lol..A little different but has funny moments.

Vacation

Rusty is all grown up with a family of his own and again, takes the family to WalleyWorld.
If you loved the old Lampoon Vacation movies you may like this..or not.Hard to say.
It does use the same style of gags sometimes and though some might say it's outdated I think it didnt seem rehashed entirely.
It was a great movie, but of you this style of silly gags then you may like it.
For me,I laughed at a number of bits and while the story has been done before I think it's worth a watch.

A short cameo by the man himself,Chevy Chase as Clark Griswold and Beverly D'Angelo as Ellen Griswold are welcomed.

5/10

Cooties

Zombie infected kids run a muck and eating the teachers at a school.
I normally appreciate this sort of silly movie but had hard time keeping interest as it went on.
