What was your best/worst game of 2014?

I was certain someone already made a thread about this, but not that I saw. Unless I'm mistaken?

Anyway. So it's now a few days into 2015. So let's look back at last year already and tell us - What was your best game of 2015 for the PS4?

I suppose remasters count (The Last of Us / Grand Theft Auto V), but what about a game that wasn't a remaster of sorts?

For a remaster, it was definitely GTA V for me. Best looking game got a whole lot prettier!

For something that wasn't a remaster, I would probably say InFamous: Second Son. Followed closely by Assassin's Creed Unity. And a honourable mention to Murdered: Soul Suspect and COD: Advanced Warfare - something I never ever thought I would say!

There are actually a lot of 2014 games I never got around to playing as of yet, such as Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare, Injustice: Gods Among Us (both of which I have), NBA Live 14/15, etc.

And as for the worst game on the PS4 in 2014, well it'll be a unpopular choice but it would be between Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.

I know I know, what the heck is wrong with me! I liked Murdered: Soul Suspect more then these two AAA titles? Well Middle-Earth was just nothing new and was a great "Greatest Hits" game (meaning it borrowed everything from everything popular) and Black Flag just was a chore to play. Did not enjoy a single moment from it.

Reasons? First Light was great. It was a nice small add-on to the already great Second Son.

PS3 - The last of US Dlc Add on - Left behind!
PS4 - Motogp14
PS Vita - Muramasa Rebirth and all of the DLC

XBox1 - Titanfall

PS3 - Enemy Front
PS4 - I wouldn't say worst, just disapointing, Destiny. For a game that is the most expensive by far in gaming history ( 500mill spent making it, and the nearst to that was GTA5 at 175 Mill, ) and it only had 20 hours of content, boring unfinished story, bare minimum MP content, that for me defines a total let down.
PS Vita - None that i can think of.

XB1 - How to survive - Storm edition. Biggest pile of shit game ever!

I don't know if its the best game of 2014, but the game I have played the most BY FAR is Diablo 3.
The Last of Us and Metro Redux I enjoyed too.

I can't name any bad games I played as I am so cheap :> I research and research and watch videos and videos of everything before buying. From what I been hearing around, Destiny is probably the biggest letdown, but never played it myself.

PS3:

Best Remastered Game: The Last of Us Remastered. I'm sure many wonder why when all they did was up the frame rate to 60FPS and make it native 1080p but I'll be honest and say I loved every minute of my replay of it and the graphics and game felt amazing. I'm sure my vote would have went to GTA V because they actually added new features but I never bought it.

Best PS4 game that wasn't a remastered version: Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare - Many might wonder why I picked such a 'out of the norm' game but its one that is really fun to play and I'm constantly going back to it until I get the plat which will take awhile. I love everything about the game from the mechanics to the whacky gameplay characters.

Something with a story mode: AC Unity and Far Cry 4 --> Haven't completed both of them yet but I'm loving every minute so far and to be honest in terms of games with a good story we've been lacking this.

Honorable Mentions: AC Black Flag --> Was technically released at the tail end of 2013 but was good and therefore deserves to be here (C'mon Haze, its an Ubisoft Game --> Its supposed to be a chore)

Infamous Second Son --> Good Game
Watch Dogs --> Again good game, too much hype though

It's extremely poor Haze. I love the genre, i love the idea of the game, but it just flat out hurt my eyes playing it. It didn't work well, was boring, and despite some occasional great graphics, it's a 2/10 game from me. Yes i was super excited for it, but i woulnd't recomend it to anyone for any price. Even if it's free, you'll just be waisting your time. Go play brothers in arms hells highway again or Moh Airbourne if you want a WW2 fix.

Best game 'for me' in 2014 on PS4 would be The Last of Us,but Im a little biased here as I never played the PS3 version so having the 'updated graphics' and great SP campaign story was awesome. Top game.

Worst 'that I played' and bought,and to be fair I havent bought many,and also not including the free PSN+ games,I guess would be Killzone Shadowfall. Its not a bad game by any means but probably just not as good as I was hoping for considering all the hype over it before PS4 console was launched.
But hey,I cant count that as it was released at launch in 2013 right? Well sorry not sure what else cause as I said,I havent bought many so there....lol

I had much expectations from AC Unity but it was a delusion, so imo the worse one.
