For you to feel like Microsoft really met what they said about changing to a more consumer-friendly company? I don't care what they do right now - the Xbone is dead in the water for me, but I will say that I might gain interest in the next gen if there is one. Seriously though I would like to hear some answers on this.

As I've said before, I wouldn't ever trust Microsoft. Just because they reversed all of their policies doesn't mean they won't try to implement them in the future. And when they said they changed their policies because they listened to the fan base, I call bull****. It was the pre-orders that changed their minds. They left a bad taste for me and a lot of others so I can't see myself ever getting an Xbox One or supporting them again. I used to be a big Xbox 360 guy, but thankfully I snapped out of that.

I dont think they could do anything now.
But even if they had it as it is now from the start,Id still be getting a PS4,PS+ is better value than xbox gold,cause you dont entirely need PS+ for some free to play MP games.
And the fact that PS4 is still more powerful. Wait a year or 2 and then see how PS4 games compare to Xbone games.

If Microsoft would sell the Xbox One without the Kinect bundled in, then I might think that they are already on their way to become a consumer-friendly company. However, I no longer trust them because of all the restrictions that they have incorporated before they swallowed their words.

Microsoft keeps doing 180's. It would be unwise for me to believe what they say at this point

Exclusive games.
Good exclusive games.

You know, the games that you look at them and go "damn, i want those games, but they are exclusive, so i have to buy that console".
That and stop with whole sharing crap.

I see that I actually I agreed with everything said here. MS is full of it in terms of caring about the consumer, and they are going to be happy snatching whatever they can scam out of people. That said I know at least a few folks would get over this if there were some games announced that seemed like they could be lived without playing. It wouldn't work for me, but then again exclusives aren't something I care too much about overall.
