What's the worst accessory no one ever needs for the PS4?

If you've had a PS3 you will know there are tons of accessories out there, and most of them we don't even need. We basically only need a bluetooth headset, controllers and maybe the Eye Toy but that's it. There are some unique accessories coming out for the PS4 as I've heard. What do you think would be the most useless or something we really don't need and would be a waste of money?

I've never really understood paying $30-$40 USD for a skin for your system. I suppose there are a bunch of things that I would much rather spend my money on. At launch though, the Sony accessories are usually totally legit and worth buying. Oh, I also really like the Energizer charger docking station. At least the one that I have for the PS3 works great. I would say the Sony Move was a huge waste, but you're asking about the PS4

Me too! Console skins are really overpriced, and that's why I don't own one, and probably never will, but I must admit that I've seen a couple one and they were pretty bad ass.

Whats a console skin? Haha just kidding, that's how much I think they are useless. Unless it was an iPhone where it would be portable, then MAYBE a skin would be called for. Otherwise, it has to be the worst! I wonder what comes after console skins, maybe controller skins? lol

Console Skins are pretty silly but I was all about them a while ago. I had to be unique MAAAANNNNNNN. But really they are pretty silly unless you get them on the cheap. The prices for some for some of those skins is pretty outrageous. I would also agree that the Move was pretty useless, my understanding is that it had some good games but the people who use the PS4 wouldn't be into that and the Move always seemed like the poor man's Wii-mote to me.

Lol Ya Bro! Unique all the way. They are quite silly I don't and never did understand them. Actually when I first saw them at gaming stores, they never really had me thinking "oh I gotta get one!" Never ever! No one is going to see that little console under that TV shelf and it's not really a mobile where you take it everywhere. I never had interest in the Move either. I just want the console, controller and the game. That's the fun right there!

I'll be waiting to see if Avenger comes out with a PS4 version of its controller accessory. I don't know if they sold many of these things in the previous generation, or if their company is still alive, for that matter. I sure hope so, though. I'd love to see more of these things come to market, I find it highly amusing.

The shit switch was really flicked on the Avenger there. I agree about the Move, it was a poor man's Wii-mote. There used to be these controllers for the PS2 that cooled your hand when you played. They had a little fan or something. Those were pretty damn useless...hope they don't reach the PS4.

I think you're supposed to use your index and middle fingers to press the connecting rod placed near the bumper buttons on top. That way, supposedly, you can press the bumper, trigger, and face buttons faster since the controls will be a lot closer to each other that way. If it actually works or not, I don't know, but I am guessing it doesn't since if it did it would probably a standard by now.

Hammer thumbs are thumbs that hit 3 buttons at once, right? I could see how the Avenger would help if you use the tips of your fingers.

If it actually works or not, I don't know, but I am guessing it doesn't since if it did it would probably a standard by now.

Hmm maybe we could just take this accessory and burn it for a good long fire. I would not waste money on such a useless thing lol! I've seen some useless accessories like the console skins but this beats all of them.

The myriad of skins you could potentially have gotten for the PS3 were pretty useless indeed, but not as useless as things like the analog stick extenders that people somehow seem to find improvements with, or the ones for the shoulder buttons. Companies will upsell anything these days if they seem like they will help, but these two are the most useless accessories I have come across thus far. I doubt there won't be similar ones for this upcoming system, just don't be too gullible and think about what it is you are purchasing.

Gotta agree with everyone here and say that the skins are the most useless and overpriced product for the PS4. You're basically paying for something that almost nobody will see and it also provides zero utility.
