What's your favorite PS4 feature?

Alright, pretty simple question. What's your favorite feature so far? Mine's probably gotta be the fact that you can plug your headphones into your controller and have everything be quiet around you. It makes playing BF4 less of a hassle when my surround sound doesn't bother the neighbors or my family.

The headphone feature is up there for me. I love the touchpad or whatever it's called. I've only had my PS4 for a week or so so I haven't used it much but I loved entering text with the touchpad. A lot easier for me than using the dpad or analog sticks.

The headphone feature is really great, especially at night when everyone is asleep.

The share feature is cool, but kind of a hassle since I am on a sub-account, which means I can't upload any videos or photos.
Unless the new update allows you to save game footage with the Share Factory. I have to try that.

1. The headphone connection to controller feature
2. the controller speaker.

while not a big thing, but the speaker on the controller can improve immersion, one great example was infamous graffiti part which made controller sound and feel like a real spray.

The headphone in controller is a nice feature, but guys, dont forget you will only get stereo sound this way so if you are playing online FPS games like Ghosts and using a gaming headset you cant connect that way for surround sound.Ofcourse your gaming headset has to support surround,if you have a stereo only one, then doesnt matter I guess.

As for my fav features, well apart from the DS4 I would say party chat is handy.

My favorite feature is the motion sensing and the touchpad typing. Typing with a controller has never been easier. At first I thought that the motion sensing typing is already very convenient and easy to use but then came the touchpad typing which made it even easier. The days of having to tap the d-pad a hundred times is finally over, lol.

The headphone feature is definitely the best for me. My wife is a musician so I have to use my headphones a lot, with the PS3 I had a long cable running from the back of the TV but now I can just plug into the controller.

I'm surprised no one's said preloading games yet. That was one of the things people were clamoring for. With digital downloads becoming more popular, I can see more people using this feature. Any thoughts on this? Or does everyone on this forum buy physical copies only?

Internet is crap here. no digital download for me. I only download the patches and some demos. Not to mention PSN server is also crap, I get download speed half of what I get on PC for other websites.

Headphones in the controller, definitely. I mean, if I'm playing a game with really good music or playing online, I'll use a proper headset, but it's great for just plug-and-go late at night or when I don't want to wake up the dog. I'm surprised at how a simple thing can have such a big impact -- when it got announced I was pretty dismissive, but it's turned out great.

The speaker is pretty cool, too: I didn't expect much from it, given how underwhelming 95% of the Wiimote's speaker usage was, but the better sound quality gives it more potential. It's nothing groundbreaking, but it doesn't feel gimmicky, which is more than I was expecting.

Going to echo everyone else here: the head phones. Really, really awesome idea.

Party chat... and yet I still talk on Skype and Raz Comms while playing. Streams, as mentioned. And yes, even the audio that plays out of the controller makes me giddy.

Same here. I use this feature a lot especially when everyone inside the house is sleeping already and I can't turn on the home theater. Back during the Ps3 days I used to hook up this weird connection behind my Ps3 involving a lot of jacks so that I could plug my headset into the AV component that came in with the Ps3, so basically had a lot of wires behind my Ps3 and it was a total mess, this feature is a blessing.

I also am looking forward to owning a Vita soon, I'd like to try out that remote play feature so I could play my favorite games while on the go.

Yes it definitely is. When I found out about it, I was leaning towards PS4 already anyway and this just convinced me.

Also, tell us how remote play is. I've seen a thread on reddit where a guy was using remote play in a Tokyo airport. His PS4 was in Sweden. Pretty cool stuff.

Party chat for one.

I think the most incredible feature for me is that you can go back to the PS home screen even if your game crashes, eliminating the need to completely reset your system. In most cases anyway.

The headphones are a good addition as well, especially since I can just use my regular ones with no problem.

I've read on IGN that remote play basically allows you to pause your game while playing the PS4 connected to your TV and continue playing it on the PS Vita anywhere with internet connection without losing any data from your save. They have demos of it on YouTube and it is pretty smooth for such a feature.

I love being able to talk to my friends even when we aren't gaming together. I would like for there to be more people allowed (12-15 would suffice) because in some games, you end up with a LOT of friends, and it's hard to pick and choose who to hang with when they are all online!
