What's Your Favorite Thing To Do When Snowed In Or Rained In?

Is gaming your go to when you are stuck inside, or do you go right for the movie collection and pick something to watch? When it's snowing, I get the hot chocolate ready and I love to sit back and game while watching TV or a movie.

Generally, I'd play games. If me and the girlfriend are together, we'll snuggle up and watch TV or a movie on Netflix. Though I drive a Jeep. If I get bored while being snowed in, I can get around if I want

Everyone getting hit with snow, be safe. Luckily I have off today so tomorrow I may go out and do some photography.

Well we don't have snow here, but for those extra rainy days I do like to game it up or read a good book, also watch my favourite series or a good movie...Anything to pass the time or boredom

Snowed in?! It's never happened where I am in my lifetime. Whenever it snows, there seems to be a hole about five miles in circumference that sits above our town. It very rarely snows here and when it does it rarely sticks. Yet, I can drive anywhere between five and ten miles in just about any direction it can be several inches deep…

Still to this day I can recall one day in early high school (would have been around late 1997 / early 1998) when we did actually had a good few inches of lying snow which was causing traffic problems e.t.c. Here in the UK a lot of people cry wolf when there's anything more than a dusting… Anyway, we were the only school in town to remain open . Every other one remained closed that day… As expected, that went down about as well as a lead balloon with the pupils.

The closest that I've come to being 'snowed in' was actually at work of all places... Typical. I work 'out in the sticks' a bit and it can snow. Anyway, one day about a year back it started to snow at about 10am. Come noon a lot of businesses on the industrial estate were closing up and workers heading home – hearing reports that it was getting difficult to travel even on the nearby dual carriageway. It was turned 3pm before our boss decided to call it a day and we were about the only place left open. Half of us had to shovel our way out of the car park. The single lane roads were treacherous and the three lane dual carriageway reduced to just a single lane. The usual 20/25 minute drive home took as near as makes no difference an hour and a half… The following day half of the staff didn’t even bother turning up as they lived even further into the snow but again, there was pretty much nothing in our town barely more than ten miles down the road – so I was in after crawling my way through the last few miles of snow.

If the snow is bad I usually take my wife to work, cause she wont drive in it, then if I don't have to work I clean house cause the kids wont lol, I may grab an hour of gaming before I have to pick up my kids from school, unless its a snow day then, well, I clean house while they make a mess it seems, maybe if I am lucky they'll get occupied by a TV show or game. Then when i finally find a few minutes to play a game its time to start dinner, after that is the afternoon cartoons like Spongebob and Regular Show etc. THEN I finally find a bit of time to game and its time to pick my wife up from work. So I have to dress the kids, pile them into the car and pick her up.

After getting home I fix my wife some dinner because she usually doesn't eat what we do, picky isn't she? After that i get the kids ready and in bed. Finally some game time, I plop in Knack and play 15 minutes before i realize its 11:00 PM and I have to get up at 5:00 AM so to sleep I go.

One of the biggest insults people say about gamers are we live in our moms basements, at times I wish I did lol

I like getting out in the fields on my bike when it's really wet and muddy, it makes a challenge and the shower afterwards is the best ever. When it's icy I'll take my BMX out on the back roads with ice tyres, thats by far my favourite but it happens about 3 times a year when the ice is thick enough.

If I'm not playing my PS3 then I'm probably on Facebook or YouTube. I spend way too much time on the internet, but some of it is well worth it. I also like to watch Detroit Tigers, Pistons, and Lions games on TV. Also my favorite TV show, "The Five" on Fox News. I never get tired of Andrea Tantaros!

I know this is a gamer forum, but obviously other than gaming, I like to read! I am an avid reader and will have a great time just sitting in a quiet room and reading all day. I'll get up for food and drinks, but I can get lost in a good book any time.

On a snow day I tend to catch up on comics or watch movies. On rain days it's all gaming.

Lucky. The weather here is pleasant so it's very "Take yourself to work" outside.

Well for one, I do like to snooze off the rest of the day when its raining hard. But what I do is I watch scary movies , I would pop some pop corn in the oven and just slobber the rest of the day. I do play some video games when its raining or snowing outside, but mostly just watching movies and sleeping.
