When would you buy the PS4.

I would love to buy the playstation 4, it's just that I don't want to wait 5 hours in the lines just to pick up something I might not play on the first day. I was thinking of buying the PS4 for Christmas or something like that. When are you guys going to get the PS4. On the release date, or on a further date that feels safer.I want to hear your opinions about it.

3 years from the release, when it has at least 7 must have titles. But i am pretty sure i will be getting it earlier because i want to play Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy XV so hard, that i know that i will slip on the promise and buy it when they release.
I bought a PS3 because of it, so i have that as an excuse to buy another console for those two alone.

Will be getting it right away, I live in a small town of 6,000 people so there won't be any huge lines or me.

I'll buy it one or two years after the release. That's how I usually go about buying my consoles, and it helps my decision that I always have a huge backlog of games left to play from the previous console just as the new one is announced. If I finish all my queued games earlier then I'd probably think about buying the PS4 a lot more.

Wow, I don't get how you guys can wait so long. I'm going to be getting one as soon as I possibly can. Money is tight, but I've been saving for months! I'm really excited for it!!

I'd definitely never buy it on the first day. I don't see the point really since I can be more patient considering the starting price. That's not to say I can't wait though!

It would suck being a member of this forum (especially so early) but then waiting 2 years to buy it? Doesn't make a lot of sense in my opinion.

Maybe a year after its release. Or earlier, depending on the bugs that the first owners will find. I'd rather wait to make sure that it's all worth it, but hey, after a few years, there's no way I won't buy it just for the sake of playing on a newer console.

It really depends. I'm not the person that goes out, and pre-order consoles without any information at all. For all I know, the console could be completely horrible. Depending on the reviews there are for the consoles, I would decide whether or not to buy it based on them. If they are mostly good reviews, I will probably be getting them earlier. If it's 3.5/5, I would wait until the price drops.

My brother is getting it probably a few weeks after release as it may be kinda cheaper not to sure but hopefully, i don't like getting it on the day just seems i don't know the network will be laggy probably since everyone is trying to connect ill wait for it to calm down.

I'm more than likely not going to be able to buy the PS4 on the first day of it's release or even a few months after it has been on shelves. Right now, I will need the money for college but maybe after things get settled for me I might be able to pick one up. If I had to guess, I won't probably get a PS4 until March or April of next year. At least that way, Infamous Second Son will be close or already released by then.

At least a couple of months after the release , probably around summertime 2014. By then the console will have been out for a while and any technical problems should be quite apparent and well know, and also we should have some great games already made and on the way, and the price might even drop a tiny bit so it's always good to wait and take things easy. I'm not really in a rush anywhere since I do have a gaming PC on the side.

I am not really interested in any of the launch titles so probably won't be buying one straight away. I'm going to wait for some interesting to come out, like maybe a new Persona.

Hmmm...

Two, three years sounds crazy to me. Even waiting a year is nuts. I'm probably going to have my hands on one before the year is over or at least January. The PS3 and 360 well of games is going to dry up by next summer and all the buzz and next gen talk is going to make buying one very tempting. This forum site title had me thinking everyone would be a little more excited... suit yourselves.
