Which Is The Best Assassins Creed?

I have never played it before but I watched the movie a lot of times so might as well try the game.

I know there is a storyline but which is the best title? So I knew what to buy. Or do I have to buy all of it to enjoy?

I personally think Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood was the best one. The first game was good, but not alot of people found it great. The second game was great and improved everything and had better characters. Then came Brotherhood, which was fantastic and my personal favourite. I actually never have played Revelations so can't speak for that one. And Assassin's Creed III - a huge disappointment! Seriously. 3/4 of the game was tutorials that held your hand and by the time you got to explore the world, the game ended. Just let down with that one. But I may be alone here.

Black Flag looks like it's going to be good!

If I were you, I would start from Assassin's Creed II and work your way up. You could if you want start with the later games but it will contain major spoilers.

I liked the second one the best. or some reason I got more into that one, I think they made big improvements compared to the very first, but that was great too I think.

This. The setting and lore was perfect for the Assassin's Creed series, the conspiracies and hidden secrets were awesome, and the gameplay was at it's peak.

Now I got confused with Assassins Creed and Prince Of Persia! Sorry my bad! The movie I saw was Prince of Persia.

Since most suggest Assassins Creed 2. I am going for it.

If you liked the Prince of Persia movie, try playing the Sands of Time trilogy of games. They were really great action titles... not sure if they're available for PS3, as my copy is for the PS2, but it's definitely worth searching out and playing.

As for Assassin's Creed, AC2 is definitely a great game, and I also really enjoyed the new game (Assassin's Creed 3). If you play through the second one and like it, move on to the third game. There are a lot of tutorials, yes, but I found that the change of setting was really well done, and the story and characters made the game enjoyable.

I'm also really looking forward to Black Flag. AC and pirates can only be awesome.

Assassin's Creed is hands down the best game of the series. The combat has greatly developed from the start and the story is incredibly original and well thought through. The hunting challenges make for interesting and challenging game play, and the weapons are crazy! I think this is one of the best action and adventure games in a while.
