Which Playstation was your favorite?

For me, my favorite is definitely the PS2. I seemed to fall in love with every game I played, there was so much variety in good games, there was great offline multiplayer, and I just had so much fun with it

I love the PS3. I didn't have to buy a separate blu-ray player since it was already built in the PS3. The graphics out perform those on the PS1 and PS2. The Last of Us looked so realistic it was crazy. I don't know what i'd do without my PS3.

It's hard for me to pick a favorite because I like all of them The PlayStation 1 had a lot of good games that I enjoy playing, but I like the PlayStation2 which lets me play my PlayStation1 games on it. The PlayStation3 has better features than these two and some really good games as well. I love all tge systems and it's hard to pick a favorite among them. If I had to pick, then I would have to go with the PlayStation3.

I currently hold a PS2 at home. Though I haven't played it for quite a while, it's still one of my favorite consoles.

The PS2, if only for nostalgia reasons. I played the hell out of that console and loved every bit of it. Wonderful graphics (for the time), great games and relatively low price (when I bought it), what's not to like. I still have it though haven't played it in a while. Will rectify that next time I go back home.

I really like all of them because of the memories with each of them.
On Playstation 1 I used to play Crash Bandicoot, Worms, GTA 2 and games like these that were really fun.
Playstation 2 I used to play GTA Vice City/San Andreas, Godfather, MX superfly and other games that were really nice of the time, they had great graphics, great gameplay general nice games.
Playstation 3 I can safely say that it have a lot of great games I really enjoy playing the games on it, as it also have PSN which I think is great.

If I had to choose then PS3 because of the great online features it offer.

Definitely the PS2, there were just so many great games on it and it was such a leap forward in graphics quality that makes this a pretty easy choice for me.
The PS2 is the reason I got my first job, to be able to buy one and it cost exactly what I earned on that first salary, so the first time I got paid, it lasted around 5 minutes, just long enough for me to walk to the store :)

Maybe I am too old already. Let's add some question: is the console you chose here your favourite console at all?

My favorite would of course be the PS2. While I own a PS3 I can honestly say it has been more of a pretty paperweight then it has been anything like a game system. Meanwhile I continue to play my PS2 and it continues to be awesome.

As much as I love the PS2, my favorite is still the PS1. My parents got me one when I was in high school and I still have fond memories of it. My imagination was a bit more active back then and it was my first time to play 3D games. That's why I was more in awe of the PS1 than the PS2 or the PS3. The PS1 also gives me a lot of nostalgia. Fun memories of my teen age years are embedded in that console. That's why I consider it as my favorite.

In terms of exclusive titles? Because my PS3 can run every old title if i want to.

As in games only terms of stuff, i would say the PS2, that console was a beast in all fronts, specially for the thing that makes a console - the games!

PS2 honestly had the best of both legacy and PS3. In fact, the PS2 arguably was too advanced for it's time, which we saw in the technology surrounding Final Fantasy XI's MMO attempt. I forgot what it was, but FFXI came with some kind of network gear that you inserted into the back of the original PS2. After that game went down hill, you saw the PS2 get a smaller and more streamlined look. The PS2 also catered to more of the nostalgic games I enjoyed, without going super uncanny valley and ultra realistic like in the majority of titles today. Things like Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, Jack and Daxter, and the like had a certain feel that I argue never transitioned over to the PS3 with the same hype. Arguably, games like Little Big Planet were around, but I really didn't feel the same warm feeling I had in the PS2 and N64 days.

I have to change my earlier post. I like the PS2 more than 3. I have more games that I play on the PS2 than I have on the three. I play both but I play my PS2 more often.

It would seem the first one held many classics dear to my heart. Playstation 2 was superior in many ways, but I long for the days when something as simple as Driver wowed me to no end. And, you know, it wouldn't be a post about the PS1 without the obligatory mention of FFVII.

My favorite system at present is the PS3. If only for the capacity of the games. However, as far as my preferred games, most of my all-time favorites are on the ps1, with a dash of ps2. Yes, I'm looking at you PS1 era RPGs.

Playstation 3 all the way. I have spent way more time on the Playstation 3 than the PS1 or PS2. I imagine that PS4 will end up being my all time favorite once we get 6 months or so into that. My only issue with PS3 has been the hardware. I'm on my third PS3 console due to overheating/crashes etc.
