Seeing how a lot of the PS3 games are PS2 remakes, and then there are still games that are left alone on the PS2 library, i think i would go with the PS2 in the end.
That console was truly one amazing piece of hardware that brought us incredible games.

I'll have to definitely go with the PlayStation 2. It has the first 3 Kingdom Hearts game available on the system and not only that, there are so many of my favorite JRPG's on the system as well. For example, there is Final Fantasy X and X-2, plus Final Fantasy XII. Lastly, another one of my favorite games on the system is Star Ocean: Till The End of Time.

I only own a PS3 and Vita, I'll have to go with PS3 because it is the one I have more games on (seeing as my only Vita game is Persona 4). :P A lot of my PS3 games are PS2 remakes, though.

Although I don't have the list of them, I do know that the PS 2 has had my favorite set of games out of any console I've ever had including the older gen ones. I loved that little system and happily my computer can emulate most things I want to now, but it was a heck of a system. I would sit in different game shops and then get lost for a day or two playing games that I found for the PS 2. That doesn't happen very much today if at all, so definitely the PS 2.

Well, since I only keep the games I like, I can do a quick headcount:

PS1: 32
PS2:156
PSP: 21
PS3: 42

Yeah, that's no contest.

My biggest love of the PS2 was the rich RPG library unlike any other system. It was a fuedal era of RPGs, where every studio had its own IP, and they all did battle for market share. So many franchises died in that generation, some limped out, and some came out clear winners.

PS2 of course - it was my main go to system for quite a number of years and developers really put their might behind it. Some of the best games were released for it and I still hold many of them. Even at the end developers put on quite the show. So yeah.

My fav gaming series has been Tenchu and that was on PS1 and PS2. But like most of you PS2 is a clear winner.

Peace out Tal.

I purchased more games for PS3. I love the sports games collection available on PS2 but PS3 just has better games in general in terms of fun factor and graphics. I'm not sure that an argument can be made for PS1 or PS2 over PS3 simply because the graphics are so superior and captivating on the PS3. I have about 40 PS3 games and maybe 20 PS2 games.

I have more favorites on the PS1 than the two, but I am still buying games so I think that this may even out along the way. I like the PS3 and I have games for it, but I keep going back to my PS1 and2 games. I just have more games for these consoles than the PS3. Maybe I will be able to even this out but I doubt it.

I think that this is pretty easy the PS2 has some of the baddest games around to this day. From the birth of the GTA series as we know it to the groundbreaking Metal Gear's not too mention the sports game revolution with the next generation of graphics that the PS2 utilized to take John Madden football to the next level was simply addicting to say the least. I will always keep my PS2 and plan to make my kids play it in a few years when they get old enough.

My vote goes to PS2. I enjoyed so many games there and Sony had such a win streak then that I honestly began to think it was the standard rather than exception. Suffice to say, by the time the PS3 hit stores, with all of the glory of new graphics but yet having so few quality games to show for it, I got really disappointed and didn't pick one up until recently, years after its release and pretty close to its life cycle's end. In fact, at this point, I'm only mostly looking forward to re-releases of the PS2 games on the PS store and I'm seriously hoping that they update most of them into HD too, but even as it is I'd be prepared to pay lots to download every PS2 game I loved on a new console.

Dude - Minecraft. That is the ugliest game like ever, but millions love it. I mean the point of a game is to have fun - hence kickball, soccer, football, etc - all games that rely on getting a ball from point A to point B with your feet or whatever. Not fancy or especially pretty, but fun. PS2 is fun and generally rather pretty, whereas PS3 is pretty... and kinda vapid. So yeah.

I love playing games on all my PS platforms and it will be that way for a while. I don't think I will ever get rid of any if my cinsoles. I plan on keeping them for a long time. I can't wait to get the PS4 when it comes out. I am already looking at the games for it and I have already picked out some of the ones I eant to buy. More for my collection.
