I would love to return to a good old Need For Speed ​​Most Wanted as the first! J, would also have a Split-Screen Mode! It has long been my dream to see it!
And the ability to change a vehicle to our tastes! It has no price!
I want all these things in the new Need For Speed​​.

The graphics are beautiful, as usual. It's very turned arcade!
This game makes you want, but it still lacks things!

What do you think? What is your expectation?

I have actually heard nothing about this new Need for Speed and the last one I bought was the remake of Undercover. I did enjoy that game very much along with Underground on the gamecube, so I'm hoping this one is good and does not disapoint.
So honestly I can't there is any thing specific I want or anything that I believe it will lack.

Undercover was the best NFS, apart from the original. I have no intention of getting a next-gen one though.

I will agree that this game hasn't done a good job in terms of advertising. Most websites don't even show a release date, although I'm pretty sure it's aligned with the launch of the PS4. If it is a day-one release, I can only hope that doesn't mean they've rushed it and built a bare-bones game just to get something out there. That said, there's a lot of potential for this game. While I really loved the dynamic of the last Hot Pursuit game, I think this game could really improve on the concept, if done right. Adding Split-screen again, as you suggest, would definitely help get it there. I've also heard a lot about an online focus in the game, although I can't find details on that. Hopefully it doesn't try to shove "always online" down our throats like some other games coming up (socially gaming really isn't that great). Anyway, there's a lot of potential to mess up this game, but there's a lot of potential to do great with it, and I have faith in Ghost Games, as they have a lot riding on this.

I have to admit I am not too familiar with the gameplay of Rivals. I did however pickup a copy of NFS Most Wanted on launch day this current generation - put a lot of enjoyable hours on that game. I guess you can say NFS and new hardware is a sort of tradition with me so I will definitely have this one on my eye sights.

I agree that they should pattern it again into one of the titles that made it a classic, and I agree that they should pick Most Wanted, although looks like some of our members would disagree with me. I've never played Undercover, or I might have just forgotten, but honestly I'd be satisfied with just a graphic updated but classically structured one, since the old ones were made pretty tight already to begin with.

My only reservation with picking up this title is that it was developed for the PS3/360. That being said we are just getting a port with a few enhancements here and there but lacking any dedicated gameplay or features to take advantage of the new hardware. I will be happy when we are done with ports of games and start to receive the first generation of games developed entirely for the new game machines.

I can understand NFS isnt supposed to be a driving simulator, so ill leave those criticisms aside (but be aware i have criticisms about it)

My biggest gripe with the NFS series, and almost every "realistic open world street racing" series, including forza horizon is that they try too hard to be "cool"

There always some grungy text, everyone says bro and uses slang in EVERY SINGLE SENTENCE. To make it even LESS believeable, all the people who are using the slang sound like uppity college educated people who have an expansive vocabulary but choose to employ slang. I could get over it it if it was some dude saying," naaaw man i dont think that pile can take this beast right here!" in a southern/ghetto drawl. Instead its this proper speaking guy saying "Hey bro, lets skeedaddle over to the point and put our pinks down for the glory yo!"

I saw a few trailers and screenshots, and I wasn't impressed. It's the same kids driving simulator with the same silly story and driving mechanics. Nothing new Hot Pursuit combined with The Run with more cops that now "hate you" ... ha-ha. I stopped enjoying this game after Underground was released in 2003 and the only one i really liked was NFS Porsche that had realistic driving and good damage system. If you like driving try Dirt, NFS stopped being a driving simulator 10 years ago.
