Why did you buy your PSP?

Personally, for me it wasn't the hardware, it was the software library. Sure, the large screen, built in browser, and usages like playing movies and mp3s was nice, but like most gamers I'm here for the games. I'm a big fan of RPGs and I saw that a lot of Japanese RPGs that never were originally released in America were now ported to the PSP. A large percentage of my PSP library is Japanese RPGs, but that may be just me.

So what compelled you to pick up the PSP?

I bought my PSP just for the hack!
I full free PSP games on my PC! I'm proud!

I admit that it's wrong, but there is no denying the many benefits it brings! My PSP broke down there very soon!

So I hope to get a PS Vita! Portable Sony consoles are real gems! I love these consoles!

The 3DS is also good, but I look ridiculous when I play in public!

Well I bought my so that I would have something other than the DS to play games on when I can't use something stationary. I enjoyed being able to switch from one handheld to the other and play my favorite games quickly. Though overall I didn't get very many games for it.

I bought my PSP initially for one game and one game only, which was Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep. I'm a self admitted Kingdom Hearts fanatic and I never miss out on any of the games in the series. The game is amazing, and after finishing it I decided to check out other PSP games. Other games I love are Dissidia 1 and 2 which are fighting games that feature Final Fantasy characters. One more PSP game I loved is Crisis Core and that game happens to be a prequel to the PlayStation One classic, Final Fantasy VII.

My brother originally bought the PSP, but now I own it. Initially, I kept the PSP mainly for the games such as Crisis Core, but now it's because of the Star Ocean remakes.

I just bought mine on a whim as a friend of mine was selling hers for way cheaper. As I got to play it, I really started to appreciate it, and towards the end I was modding it a lot more and I believe that contributed a lot to my enjoyment. I got to play some vintage games in there as well before I lost it, that part was fun as well, but most of all I liked the games in it even though they weren't as advanced as console games.

It's a birthday gift actually and a choice between another PS1 and a PSP so I chose the latter. Homebrew games are remarkable and it can play most of the PS1 games and some PC games too, so it's definitely a better deal. And when you got one, you can play anywhere as long as you have a power source, a charger or another battery pack.
