Why NBA Live 14?

As you guys probably know by now, EA will be re releasing there basketball series NBA Live. Ive always been a big 2K fan, and have always thought 2k's basketball series is better than EA's. For you guys that are buying Live 14, why do you think it will be a better game than 2K? Im curious on what some Live fans have to say.

Well I only can compare NBA Live 10 to some of the 2k games, but personally I just preferred the controls and mechanics to NBA Live. I did try a few demos of the 2k series and although they look brilliant and are good, I just simply preferred NBA Live.

I like the game but i do not think it will be better than 2k. 2k has a more realistic and professional presentation to it. I think that the NBA Live series has better announcers.

That's how I've always been. I understand 2K always gets the better ratings, but I've been a Live guy since NBA Live 95. I've always enjoyed the controls and feel of the game more. I'm pretty iffy on NBA Live 14 for obvious reasons, but I'm glad they decided to skip current gen and focus completely on next gen. I'm really hoping they make a fun game, and if so, I'll probably end up getting it at some point. Hopefully, they can at least make a quality one to build on for next year.

I think NBA Live will be more realistic and more than likely have a new gaming mode. NBA Live will probably feel different compared to NBA 2K14. I also think NBA Live will have one up on 2K14 because of the release dates. NBA 2K14 should have released their game closer to NBA Live. NBA Live now has a chance to perfect what NBA 2K14 could not.

I for one will give it chance since EA has always done well in sports department and this game will be no exception. Only time will tell though.
