Will Killzone Mercenary be the first good FPS on the Vita?

Up until now, the Playstation Vita's major FPS games haven't been met with great reception. Oddly enough, they were both made by the same developer, Nihilistic. Resistance Burning Skies and Call of Duty Black Ops Declassified both had their issues.

But will Killzone Mercenary be able to right the wrongs of the previous two big FPS games for the Vita?

I thought Resistance: Burning Skies was pretty good! But yes, I hope Killzone Mercenary will be all that and more!

Like Haze said, I really enjoyed the Resistance game on the Vita but I have a good feeling that the new Killzone game will just as, if not better. I missed out on the open beta for the game but a friend of mine who was lucky enough to play it said that it was pretty great. He said the graphics were top notch and the controls were very fluid. I'm hoping that what he said is true as I have very much been looking forward to the game.

I think Sony won't screw this up. They need to make as little mistakes with the Vita as possible in order for it to be a serious competitor for the Nintendo 3DS. With the last offering on the PS3, I have high hopes for both the Killzones that would come out not only for the Vita but for the PS4 as well.

Please, Sony, don't screw this up.

For what i have seen, the game looks amazing. If it really runs like that and has everything they promised for multiplayer, i think it will be another great addition for PSVita library.

I've spent quite a bit of time playing the beta and it's by FAR the best FPS on the Vita to date. As a matter of fact it's the first game, in a long time, that I'm really looking forward to buying.

I will admit that things are looking good for Killzone: Mercenary, so far. I played a bit of the Beta and the mechanics work well and the game looks beautiful, graphically. I will have to wait until the full game comes out to form my own opinion, since multiplayer just doesn't click with me for shooters. I'd rather play the Single Player and experience the story to form my opinion.

But all in all, it seems like a lot of people are liking it more than the previous FPS on the system, so it could be a step in the right direction.
