Will the PS3 get an update for XMB to match PS4 XMB?

Hi guys I have been wandering will sony make an update for PS3 XMB to match it with PS4 XMB?

As it wont be logical if the PS3 will be supported for the next 2-3 years and will be working on the same network as the PS4 they at lest should be on the same line!?

Highly unlikely but Sony does keep its previous gen consoles alive for a while.

well, you never know .. but it could be cool if it happens 3 days to go until PS4 becomes part of our reality

I really don't think so. There have to be as many things as they can manage to make exclusive to the new system in order to create a need to purchase sooner than later. Would it be cool? Yes. Probable? I think not.

I don't think this will happen really, but it can't be ruled out either. I think it would be cool if they were to though. Maybe Sony are feeling sorry for their patient PS3 customer's!
