Will There Be A New Vita Model or Price Drop During E3?

I think a new model and possibly a price drop is imminent during E3. Since Sony is clearing out their old inventory before shipping out a new one, Vita supplies online are very low and most stores are currently out of Vitas too.

So, What do you think?

Well, I'm not very hopeful about it. While it seems logical for the price of current Vita models to drop so that Sony can clear their inventory, i don't think the price will drop. I'm basing this off the current PS3 situation. Despite the announcement of the PS4 and how the price is slated to be lower that the PS3, PS3 prices have not dropped and remained constant.

There will be a price drop. It always happens and nothing will change.

Most of the time you can actually find gamers that bought the Vita selling it new for lower. Sometimes much much lower than retail.

Well, i do hope so, especially for a price drop. The new model would be cool, but i don't know if Sony would do that for a console that is selling so poorly.

Also, Sony, if you are listening, drop the damn prices on the memory cards, in what material are you doing these, gold?

I think that there will be a price drop, but of course it's not certain. I think it largely depends on the demand for the new Vita though. Then again, Sony and price reductions is not something I see in conjunction with one another all that often.
