Wireless signal?

Is anyone else experiencing a poor wireless signal.

I moved my PlayStation 4 out of the living room in to my bedroom, and the signal is horrible. I have many other devices connected to the same router, and they get good reception. I know the router is not the problem.

I am asking because i want to know if this is an isolated incident, or if this is a console issue. If it is an isolated issue i will send the system back to Sony. If it is a console issue i will simply buy an extender.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Well, I haven't had any problems when it comes to signals, but I do notice that when I moved mine to my living room the signal kind of dropped a few bars but never really that drastic. I guess its something to do with your machine, maybe try and move it, maybe something is blocking the signals?

My friend has issues with his wireless signal but he has concrete, very thick walls so he understands this.

Well, there's a really good reason for all the wireless trouble: Sony didn't exactly build the WiFi and BT antennas up to par. I actually disassembled mine and gave it a huge boost, so now I have an extra 300 feet of controller and wifi range. Not kidding. Brick walls don't help, but they certainly shouldn't be blocking the signal enough to notice.

The best thing you can do is..... if you have an android install a sniffer apk and try to know if somebody is stealing your signal.
