Worst PS1 game you've played

I used the overhead view while playing GTA 3. I loved that view in GTA 1 & 2...but that side, theatrical view. It was awesome when cruising on Vice City's usually empty streets.

I was pretty fourtanete growing up with my PSX in terms of terrible games I played. I'm also a very "cup is half full" kind of a guy (the words of my friend, not me) and try to find the silver lining in even the most mediocre games as a way to justify my purchase. The big outliers for me would have to be Beyond the Beyond and Final Fantasy Anthology (the one with Chrono Trigger). Beyond the Beyond was a very early psx rpg but you would never be able to tell outside of the game's cd quality audio and full 3d opening cutscene. The latter looks like it was rendered in blender for a 7th grader's computer art class, oh my god. I can confidently say that snes rpgs were more cutting edge than Beyond the Beyond, the game looked like garbage next to Chrono Trigger for crying out loud.

Final Fantasy Anthology was horrible for one reason: the port of Chrono Trigger had the most atrocious, unspeakable loading times ever. Most fans tend to exagerate a game's lowpoints but everything you hear about this game is no hyperbole. 15-20 seconds just to load the main menu and then another 15-20 seconds to exit it. Same for battle transitions. A real shame this was many gamer's first exposure to Squaresoft's most brilliant rpg.

Freaking Bubsy 3D, oh my God I hated that game more than I hated my Justin Bieber, and that's saying something. Awful controls, horrible graphics and my God that voice! It still haunts my dreams up to this day and age, and it's been almost 10 years since I last played it! My God that game ruined me for the rest of my life. I don't remember how I got that game, I think it was a birthday present or a Christmas gift but regardless, kids today are lucky they have the internet to consult game reviews before they get to choose a game, but us, we have to freaking risk our money and nerve, and I am one of the unfortunate kids who's childhood has been desecrated by that abomination.

The worst PlayStation game that I have ever played has definitely got to be Pepsi man. This game was an absolute joke and I am glad I never payed to play it. I originally played it at an old neighbors house and boy am I glad I wasn't him.

You have my attention. What was it about? My guess its a Pepsi promotion?

That was an awful game, hard to believe I played it as much as I did. Actually I still can't understand why I ever bothered with it in the first place!

Twisted Metal 3 is one of the worst ones, clearly earning a permanent spot in my top five worst games. I have reserved some spots for worse ones because I have no doubt they are out there waiting for me.

Twisted Metal III was in fact awful although I would have to say that even Barbie took gaming to new lows. There have been other games that probably could have set back gaming at least thirty years but I will go with those two.

What really? I think it's actually quite fun...

Wow a lot of voted for Bubsy 3D, almost makes me want to go play it just to see how it is.

The worst one for me was Army Men 3D, not only was the gameplay awful, the game was completely bug-ridden, I have no idea how it could be released in that state.

Twisted Metal was soooo bad that just to read the name of that game I want to gag. I really, really tried to like it but the more that I played it the more I disliked it. Couldn't even give it away let alone sell it.

Pepsi Man is not a bad game, its a work of art.

Got to be Evo's Space Adventures. I remember getting this as a present as a kid and thinking back at it now it was the most boring retarded game I have ever played. It was alright I suppose as a kid but good god it was awful. I assume there are many more idiotic games like this that no one will probably have heard of but yeah it was pretty bad haha.

Just sitting and reading the comments brought back the frustrating feelings that twisted metal 3 used to give me. That gaming series was the worst that I had ever had the chance to play. The graphics were horrible and I really think that the game had no point at all. Honestly I do not even think that the game needed to be created in the first place.

I know most people say that The Crow, City of Angels was probably the worst Playstation 1 game- but, I don't know about that, because I actually liked it. Maybe it's because I love fighting games and have yet to find one that really disappointed me.
