Xbox One Cases Put Discs On Opposite Side

I know this isn't a big deal, but I still find it ridiculous, not that I'm mad about it either for that matter, but apparently, I'm not alone.

Xbox One Cases Put The Disc On The Wrong Side

We really can’t explain this one. Since the dawn of the CD era, jewel cases have always been the same. The insert goes on the left. The disc goes on the right. Not anymore.

For some reason, at least one Xbox One case has switched things around. When you open the case, the disc is on the left.

In my opinion, there is no reason to do this, even as the theory that some have put forward that now the ads placed on the right are more visible. I think they were perfectly visible and effective at the left side, and I really see no reason to this other than some employee or executive trying to show off by being a "super cool and hip innovator". I feel awkward just looking at it, to be honest.

That is very odd? Maybe they're trying to find other ways to be unique, silly or not? Funny microsoft people.

What the hell? I don't see why it's a big deal but shouldn't it be tradition anyways? That traditional case layout but I agree, maybe they are trying to be a little more 'special'

This doesn't do anything. It's silly. I would have loved to hear the meeting where this was decided as something they should spend extra money on in order to produce these cases.
