Xbox One needs simultaneous Japan launch to be successful, says Dynasty Warriors director | VG247

Since the Xbox was first released back in 2001, Microsoft has struggled to see their consoles sell in Japan and according to the director of the 8th game in the Dynasty Warriors series, if they want that to change, they should release the Xbox One on the same day as it is released in North America. Seems like this won't happen though as Microsoft have already confirmed the Xbox One won't btw releasing in Japan until 2014.

Xbox 360 to zero success in Japan. You do not change habits so easily!
Playstation is master in Japan! PSP and PS Vita will sell easily!

Microsoft does not even think about trying to challenge Sony, because they will be crushed.
Japanese games are rarely on Xbox. Microsoft will not launch the online mode in Japan first.

It is impossible for the Xbox One sell much in Japan. It is doomed to failure!
