Microsoft have revealed some interesting information regarding the controller to their upcoming system the Xbox One. It has been announced by Microsoft that the Xbox One's controller will have PC compatibility by 2014. This is good news, as I'm sure many gamers are excited to use the Xbox One controller for their gaming PC.

Yeah, I would've hoped so.
I mean, a lot of people (including me) are using the 360 game pad on PC and I always thought the goal of Windows 8 and all their latest products was to create a consistent experience throughout most of their products, so people grow accustomed to them, which leads to brand loyalty. Making basic things like the controller incompatible with each other just seems like a step in the completely wrong direction.

Do they have to contact Alien life to make drivers for the controller? That thing is a Xbox 360 controller with some custom stuff, it's not a relic of ancient times. Do they really need all that time? Are they just doing this to keep the controller exclusive to the console for the maximum amount of time? Sometimes i don't understand these guys...
