So what's up guys, I'm a 24y/o long time on/off gamer from the UK. I'm mostly a lone wolf, the free headset from Sony is the first one I've even owned but still not used it. I'm not against playing with people, I just don't have any friends that game and I'm not very active online either. That might change and maybe I'll find a few here that won't mind a crappy squadmate tagging along!
My first console was a NES (which I still play Duckhunt and Mario on!) and have had nearly every console since then.
I picked up my PS4 from Argos in the UK, according to thier website the last one either in store or online. They had no games so picked up KZ:SF and NFS: Rivals from Game, downloaded BF4, Ghosts (Yuk), War Thunder and Warframe. Also planning to get Tomb Raider since I never finished it.
KZ looks awesome and plays really well, I remember the controls for KZ2 or 3 were confusing as hell for me. Some people have said it has no substance, but this is no more true than most FPS storylines. It is a bit linear but it looks good enough to make you want to explore. Ghosts is ...like every other COD since MW2. Rivals is OK, no more special than the others in terms of gameplay I don't think. Cops seem way OP. War Thunder is great, I had no idea it would be on PS4. Warframe confuses the hell outta me, I need to explore it much more.
I'm loving the upgrade, not just in graphics but the larger numbers and abilities of enemies and elements. Dead Rising 3 is something I find very promising from the sheer number of zombies present. I know that's another platform but it still speaks to what the new consoles can do. I can't wait to see what the next few years brings us.
