You can pick any classic game to be remade on PS4, I choose...

I have 2 choices actually, both helped usher in the original. The first is Warhawk. The online only version had quite the cult following but the sequel never really caught on. I want to see the MP of PS3 Warhawk with a robust campaign and great narrative. The second is my favorite PS game of all time, Twisted Metal. This one has a higher cliff to climb. Eat, Sleep, Play is gone and Jaffe is working on smaller games. What would yours be?

I would like to see Metal Gear Solid. For me that's really a classic game and a series that is quite legendary amongst titles. I think there is potential for the best MGS yet with the capability of the PS4. They could really push the graphics to the next level and so long as the theme is kept the same, which it will be I think it will be such an awesome game. I'd like to see Gran Turismo also, because that's one of the best racing games I've ever played, I'm pretty sure that is going to be out for the PS4 though anyway.

The first game that crossed my mind once I saw this thread was Azure Dream. Honestly speaking, it defined my gaming experience with my Playstation 1. Heck, it was THE game of my childhood, as a whole. I remember spending countless hours just trying to catch more monster eggs to help me reach the top most floor of the dungeon. In addition to that, if you got bored of dungeon crawling, then you could just stay in your village and you may either try to improve your town or get laid with the ladies. Yes, you also played as a pimp.

I miss that game so much. I'm currently in search of a decent ROM for the game.

Since Metal Gear Solid has already been mentioned, I'd go for Xenogears instead. This epic RPG made by Square is one of the most memorable (and most controversial) games on the PS1. It had an incredible story that was up and above the other RPGs of its time. It was touching, it was heartwarming, and it was engaging. The gameplay was great too. You could fight on Gears (robots) or on foot. There was so much to do in a fantasy world that was full of life. A complete remake would definitely be amazing.

I think MGS 5 is also coming out for sure, they announced it. I doubt that is the PS3 running that. Grand Turismo is lock, just depends on when. I would also like to see a reboot of the God Of War Series. One game that I though for sure was going to be remade was Zone Of Enders. That game needs to me made already. I played that game to death.

Grand Theft Auto Vice City would be my choice. That games was loads of fun. The best thing about the game were the settings. Every level had good scenery. I think it could look really excellent on a system like the PS4.

I would think that you mean exclusive Playstation games, right?
If so, i would have to say something like Vagrant Story, that game deserves to be remade with graphics of something like Final Fantasy Versus.
But i guess neither of them will be releases anytime soon...

If I could pick any classic I'd go way back to Sega and choose Streets of Rage. I think that's so much missed opportunity by current developers since it still has a lot of loyal fans and I bet it will gain more fans if it were remade today. I'd even be up for seeing it turn 3D and made into a God of War type game, but a good side scroller with updated graphics and a long gameplay and combining everything good about the 3 games (e.g. - SoR Remix) would be the perfect form of it, in my opinion.

I would really like to see San Andreas, but I don't really think that will happen...wishfull thinking on my part I guess.

Good one. Especially if they don't butcher it like they did with Double Dragon Neon or whatever they called that mess. The side scrolling beat em up got little love this gen. It would be nice to see it return. Do you guys remember a PS1 game called 'One"? The main character was voiced by Bruce Willis. It was awesome, I would live to see a sequel to that.

I'm not sure why so many people seem to be so keen on a new GTA: SA. With GTA V coming out soon and being set in a similar area I'd probably be more keen on seeing Vice City be remade. Of course, this is based on the assumption that GTA V lives up to the series and is an excellent game, which I'm sure it will be!

Thanks, glad you agree! I've never even heard of Double Dragon Neon, I'll have to look it up later because like you said, it's a mess and I love watching trainwrecks. :D I'd love to see side scrollers make a comeback, since I suspect it won't take too much time and they could make a lot of it anyway. But I'd totally be up for 3D versions of DD or SoR so long as they don't butcher it, like you've mentioned.
