I'm glad I'm falling into the majority here. Just had a thought, I think internet communities like this appeal to people in their college ages and older. I'm not surprised there are not many kids younger than early 20s. The way I see it, people posting on here are probably not new to forums. Like I said before, I was in middle school when I signed up for my first forum. They were all the rage in the late 90s and early 2000s and I was part of multiple communities. I've kind of noticed that forums are not that popular with people who are younger anymore. I could be wrong....I probably am wrong. Just something I just noticed in this thread Either that or there seems to be a lot of people posting here in their mid 20s and older because that is the average age of gamers too.

The average age of gamers in AUS is 32 now.
And about 75% of gamers are over 18.
Things sure have changed since the days of SNES and MegaDrive (Genesis),back then as an adult you almost felt silly browsing the game shelves and hoped no one saw you..lol.

I remember my mom hated that aisle when I went to Toys R Us. She usually had to drag me out. I could have stayed in the game aisle all day. And back in those days, we had to take out a ticket from a pouch in front of the game you wanted and go up to the counter where they kept them in a cage. Guess its the same concept today but with empty game boxes

Most department stores are like this,you take it to the counter then they put the disc in. I HATE that. I want my shrink wrapped!
And some are only for display,you take it to the counter and they take out a shrink wrapped one. Thats good.

Anyway,at least when you order new games online they are always shrink wrapped. (Or should be)

Oh my god. I can't stand when its not shrink wrapped. When GameStop does that, it really pisses me off. I got a new game one time (was an older game) and wanted it new. He pulled the disc out of a drawer to put in the "new" case I brought up and I made him put it back and give me the used one. Who's to know they aren't putting a used disc in and charging me full price or some other shady stuff. And the way I see it, if its not in shrink wrap, its not new. If another set of hands is on it besides mine, its not new and not worth 60 dollars to me.
