I am personally underwhelmed with what I've seen at the E3 announcements. Granted, this might be the first year that I actually paid this much attention to E3 enough to notice the games, as I usually just ignore everything until the consoles and the games have settled into the market comfortably before I even begin to look at them.
My question is, first off, do you feel the same way, even just kind of? From what I saw, all games pretty much have the same color themes (brown, black, gray) and even when there were bursts of fun colors, they were toned down (for realism, I presume) to the point that they might as well have been gray. What happened to all the out-of-this-world / fantasy games? Or is this just how gaming companies usually start off?
P.S. - To be fair, I was a lot happier with PS3's game previews because they weren't just 50 different types of FPS games. *cough* Xbox.
