Your Favorite PS2 game

GTA 3 was my all-time fav GTA game, that'd definitely be in there, pureply because i'd never played anything like it before. It was a true eye-opener.

Definitely this one, at the time I was a pretty big fan of the Driver game and being able to not only get out from your car but also mess everyone up was amazing to my younger self (and obviously it still is :D ) I didn't really understand or appreciate the storyline at that time but the sandbox aspect of the game was amazing and provided hours upon hours of fun.

My top five would probably be:
Final Fantasy X
FF X-2
God Of War
GTA San Andreas
Kingdom Hearts 2

its pretty cool that all these series are still alive and kicking!

Tom Clancy Splinter Cell. Best game ever. The game is pretty hard to beat, which is a good thing. I think games need to be challenging. It keeps you more engaged and gives you more satisfaction when you beat it.

Mine was GTA: Vice City or Fifa 06 them games were legendary i remember completing Vice City for the firs time the enjoyment of that :D and the Fifa 06 career mode was pretty good not the best but it was challenging.

Ok, GTA was very cool too. But which part of GTA isn't?

My favorite Sony(PS2) game is: Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty by Konami Computer Entertainment Japan.
What this game delivers is a fascinating perceptive of being a secret agent deployed to halt an alternative enemy.

If I had to pick one, I would say Kingdom Hearts II. I had a lot of fun PS2 games, but that was one of my first, and the one I spent the most time in. I played that game so much and my disc ended up getting ruined from being used and moved around so much.

I still remember spending who knows how long just randomly fighting Sephiroth over and over again.

Ah, man. I can't decide on just one favorite, so I'll list several.

Kingdom Hearts, the first one, is what truly brought me into Playstation gaming. It has a great (convoluted) story and gameplay to back it up. I can't wait for the release of 1.5 so I can play it once again, but in HD. :D

Tales of the Abyss is another great one. I haven't played this one the ps2 yet, but the 3DS remake is a great way to experience the game without the hassle of trying to find a ps2 copy. The game is one of the best RPGs I have played in a long time, and is a great introduction to the Tales series. I think it definitely deserves some love.

I know most people say Final Fantasy X, but I prefer Final Fantasy XII. The gameplay was very unique and I love that it tried something new. I got sucked in grinding and didn't want to come back out.

Can't think of any more PS2 games at the moment. If I do, I will make sure to add to this list.

Mine was GTA SA. Just loved that game so much. I spent a good part of a year playing it.

Initially I barely even did the missions, and just played around with cheats. Several months later I started doing the missions lol.

The customization and just roaming around is so much fun...who needs the missions?

My favourite ones have to be Indigo Prophecy, GoW, FF X, and all the MGS, aswell as the PES series that were still rocking in the ps2, oh man Indigo Prophecy was one of the best games I've EVER played, oh and the MGS2 sons of liberty was just so amazing at the time, oh old times please return, I'm even getting the FFX HD remastered edition as soon as it comes out for the PS3 so I can remember how awesome the game was.

Okami - the imagery, the awesome gameplay (darn you "Rei"), the reimagining of classic tales from Japan, and of course the wonderful humor. Also I've yet to meet a minigame that beat the fishing game. Really Okami is one of the best games I've ever played for any system - and I say that having got both the Wii and the 360 ports... yes I have a gaming problem.

I like Devil May Cry. Now that is a good game and I also like the other ones as well. I have all of them.

I loved Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal. Better difficulty, great characters and hilarious dialogue, I owe all my love of gaming to Ratchet and Clank. I need to pick up the HD collection sooner than later as well.

My missus has that, she's played some of all 3 but seems to have lost interest.
And she's had most of the previous 'proper' PS3 versions too but tells me she doesnt want any more.
She's prefers the Lego series games and will stick with those.
Me however,Ive no interest in either :p

My favorite PS2 game was, and still is, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2.

The problem is I cant find it anywhere for less than like $35. The first is fairly cheap, but the second was just so amazing, and must have been somewhat rare, because its more expensive than lots of ps3 games :(

I loved playing Burnout Revenge on PS2. It was such a fun game to play back then, and even now. I loved how you could take out other cars to pass them up, it took racing games to a whole new level for me. I remember I had to convince my mom to get me this game. I told her that it would one day help me develop some good driving skills. So she agreed without knowing what the game was truly about. She even bought me the driving wheel!

I like kingdom hearts too it is not my favorite but I like it as well. I hope to get all the games in this series even though they are on different platforms.

I have a couple favorite PS2 games that I thought were just amazing while I was growing up. First are the two Kingdom Hearts games. I have to admit I wasn't so sure about a Disney game but it wasn't at all what I expected. The story was good and the characters were, of course, likable. Second was Final Fantasy X and X-2. I really like the Final Fantasy series however these two games are one of my favorites. I just liked the story and characters so much and really got sucked in.
