Call of Duty Ghosts Good?

You know I have not really sat down and played call of duty games like that. I was wondering is Ghosts any good? I have played the others, but not to where I completed the game. I may go back and actually do that, but I see everyone talking about how good Ghosts is and some say it is not that good, so I wanted to get some opinions from hardcore Call of Duty players. Thanks in advance.

I dig the multiplayer, it has variety and bigger maps, it feels better than most COD's though I prefer Black Ops over Ghosts or MW. The new Wolf skin dlc for your dog is epic. He walks different and sounds different too. I think the dlc will be 100x better than past COD dlc maps and extras.

Can I ask why you think that? I loved BO2 (not so much MW3) and for some reason this latest installation does not interest me one bit

Well I was seeing if both Campaign and Multiplayer are good. I usually play games and one is better than the other. I wanted to see if one was better than the other. No doubt I would play campaign, but I would like to try the multiplayer as well. Thank you all for your comments I am going to try it out.

Well,for me its just another CoD SP campaign,its not bad,but its not great.

As for the MP,well I know some like it and some dont.As always.
Me,honestly,Ive only finished my 1st prestige so far and this far in playing MW3 and Blops 2 I liked them better at the time.Im not saying Ghosts is bad,perhaps Im just not into CoD as I once was.
I still play it,but its defo more fun playing with a party,that helps keep the interest up.

There are some things that are good with Ghosts,I like that they brung back Specialist,Assault and Support Killstreaks,and this time support ones are just that,they dont actually get you kills,but are designed for help really,and to help your team,and thats the idea after all.

Everything costs squad points to buy,perks are unlocked as you rank up but still must be bought.
Guns,attachments,lethals and equipment can be bought as you as soon you have enough squad points to buy them,no need to actually be a certain rank to unlock them.
I also like the way they expanded on the perk system on Blops 2,perks have a point system,better ones usually cost a bit more,and you can have more perks by giving up lethals,equipment and secondary weapon.

Maps most are medium to big,plenty of snipers and campers as usual depending on the map.
People complain of campers,fair enough if playing TDM etc but with objective based modes there is an amount of camping involved,its a must for defense etc.

Its also good you can invite people to your clan ingame (as long as you are Commander or Lt.Commander),CoD elite is not needed for Ghosts.But if you are a clan commander or lieutenant commander you need the CoD app for your iphone or android device.

And dont forget Extinction,its Infinity Ward's take on the successful Zombies mode on Treyarch's CoD games.
I never played these a great deal of that but I think Extinction is a fun diversion from regular MP.You can also play it with friends online too and unlock stuff and rank up in that seperately too.

To me MW3 was MW2.5,I looked forward to Black Ops 2 and after a while I enjoyed it too,but got bored with it quicker.Ghosts I looked forward to as well,but even right now I dont feel the need to play it all the time and rank up quick.
So looking back as far as the start of MW3 in hindsight I can say I probably enjoyed that the most.
I dunno,maybe I need to prestige up a few more times to really get into Ghosts...

Ghosts isn't that great. Well as far as the single player campaign goes. Really the bread and butter of Ghosts (as with most COD games) is the multiplayer. It's pretty satisfying but I can see why a lot of people didn't like it as much as other installments. There's a sense of laziness that I get from Ghosts, hopefully the next installment won't feel as stale.

I must say i was not that into ghost. I feel there were some aspects of the game that i enjoyed but not for the most part. I enjoyed the fact that a kill streak was a dog that would walk with me i though that was cool. I wasnt really into the bigger maps it took forever to find people in my opinion. I do like the graphics i felt they were better.

Easily the worst in the series. The graphics are worse than Black Ops 2's and the campaign mode is bad in just about every single way. Maybe next time they should actually try making a new game like Treyarch instead of just rehashing half of the last Modern Warfare, and there's nothing new here. Even their pathetic attempt at competing with Battlefield's level changing mechanic is horribly implemented to the point where it almost never happened and when it did it was just a gas station exploding or a gate closing or something stupid. I'm still in disbelief about how bad this one is.

It is alright I guess If you're into Call of Duty. I personally think that Ghosts is the worst game in the entire Call of Duty series. There isn't really a whole lot going on in the game, and the storyline is just the blah. If you are hardcore COD fan I think you might be able to get into Ghosts, but the game is not for me.

Well not entirely true.I mean the PS4 version still looks better than Black Ops 2 on PS3,but you would expect that.

But I do agree with others here in that it's the worst so far.
I prestiged max in Black Ops,MW3 and Black Ops 2 but Ghosts Im only on prestige one.Havent played it in ages now and dont much care for it anymore.

I'm not sure. I wasn't a huge fan of COD3, but then again, Ghosts was pretty middling. It's a tough call, that one.

Fair enough on CoD 3,well that was the first on PS3 and only had 'upgraded PS2 graphics' really where as CoD 4 ModernWarfare truly looked like a new gen PS3 title back then.

I personally didn't like CoD Ghosts, I think it's one of the worst, if not the worst game in the series. The only okay thing about it is the multiplayer, but that's the only thing I found enjoyable.

The multiplayer was/is good? Nah,the MP is also VERY average at best too.
Disappointed all round.
CoD SP campaigns are also average too.

But Im really REALLY hoping Advanced Warfare will a step up again in MP and SP campaign as this will be the first TRUE current gen (was next gen) CoD title.

(BTW all: I think we can now say PS3 and 360 are last gen while PS4 and Xbone are current gen,enough of the next gen already I think)

I didn't really like it. I prefer Call of Duty 2, Modern Warfare, Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops 2 over it by far. There really isn't any outstanding map for it like in most other CoD titles. It's just an overall mediocre game with bad maps and the story doesn't save the game, but that was never the main focus of CoD games anyway. I just hope Advanced Warfare will come up with some great maps again and maybe I'm gonna have some more playtime on it than on Ghosts.
