PS4 Stuck in Factory/Service Mode

Hey guys!

I just got my PS4 back from Sony service repair today (had blinking blue light issue), it boots fine now but it's stuck in Factory/Service mode. It deletes everything stored on it every time I turn it off or restart, so that it boots up as if it's a new system. It signs on as UserA and UserB everytime (I think they're for servicing purposes).

I tried Sony's live chat support as well as calling them , but nothing they suggested worked. They kept asking me to do another service request but I don't want to have to send it in again, and it seems like an easily fixable problem. I imagine the guys at the repair centre were just this using this "service mode" to test, and forgot to set it back.

Anyway, any help would be really appreciated. Like i said, I would prefer not to send it back and wait another couple weeks, its just frustrating to have to go through that process again. Here is what i have already tried:

-Tried updating the software, but it said that 1.62 was the most recent
- In Safe Mode: Restored Default Settings
- In Safe Mode: Rebuilt Database
- In Safe Mode and Regular Mode: Initialized PS4 (Tried quick and full, which took 2 hours)

Here's an image of what screen i get:

Sorry I cant actually help but I think you may have to do what you didnt want, and that is send it back again.
Anyone else have a suggestion?

Alright, you won't be able to do this on your until we get the "lx2diag.self" file or whatever the newest one is called. It's a file you throw onto a flash drive and plug into the PS3 and it lets you enter/exit safe mode when it finds the file. However since we don't have the file, we can't get it out. I'm not sure if the lx2diag.self file works on the PS4, but I'd give it a try.

Since I can't post links yet, there is a video on youtube titled: "How to get PS3 out of Factory/Service Mode" by Source-Film-Maker and he has a mediafire link that you can try.

Make sure the flash drive is FAT32 before you continue though!

I know this thread is about one month old, but i was only made aware of it today, so sorry for bumping, but i have to in order to call this fake.

Drugs are bad, don't do them...
