Fifa15 only for ps4

Hello everyone! I was just wondering if FIFA15 will be released only for the new console or if it will also be released for the PS3... Most people will not have purchased the PS4 and I think it would be a good marketing strategy to make FIFA15 for the PS3 too. Just that.

What do you think?

Seeing as FIFA 14 came out on the PS2, I'd imagine that it's a pretty safe bet you'll see FIFA 15 for the PS3.

The title of the thread made me think that FIFA 15 was a PS4 exclusive, which would be a HUGE deal. That would make the PS4 the biggest thing ever in Europe.

Fifa 15 will be released on the Playstation3 for sure, and I'm also predicting it will also sell pretty damn good on it, especially in Europe.
Playstation 3 will last a long time before producers stop making games for it.

I'm a hundred percent sure that FIFA 15 will be released on the PS3. The console still has a share in the market, you know. I doubt EA would be willing to give up such market share.

Fun fact related to the topic:FIFA 14 was one of the last games to be released on the PS2.

FIFA 15 will surely come out on PS3 as PS4 is still relatively new to the market and not everyone will own one. This being said, maybe in two or three years, if not longer, you will have to worry about the reliability of games coming out on the PS3.

I agree, PS3 games will not stop getting released for maybe one more year, or even two, because there's still a pretty big player base.

FIFA 15 will definitely be coming out on PS3 and Xbox 360. The way that EA sports deal with the franchise is that they put all of the development work into the current console, and the old console pretty much just receives squad and kit updates. This allows them to release the games for years after the end of the console without any real work.
