Modded controllers

I've never tried any modded controller before, but I want to. I just don't know where to go for the best kind to use for COD. I know some will say that is cheating. Whatever. If you're not trying to gain an edge on competition, then you're not trying hard enough to win.

Does anyone know any good sources?

Ben Heck has done some amazing mods over the years. But be prepared to wait for quite some time and probably pay a lot.

ive never bought one b4 but i did my own trigger stops yesterday and it works pretty good you should give it a try ...... easy job

I havent really been look too much into modded controllers. Found a few sites, havent made a purchase as of yet been focused on some things going on in my life havent been gaming at all. Time to get back to it!

Ben Heck? I will google him or that business (whatever it is). Thanks.

Haven't modded a controller. Repaired and frankensteined controllers from other controllers to get them to work again, but never modded.

Yeah, he's a guy who does custom mods of pretty much everything Just google his name.

Correct me if I am wrong but doesn't C.O.D. have a fire limit on all guns so people that have no skill and can't win fairly just waste their money?

Yes, you are correct. In COD, you can hit a threshold for fire rate, and the gun will act like it jammed.

Good to Know. I believe if he were to buy 2 of them modded controllers it should rectify the problem but he might need to buy 4 just to be safe. It's posts like this that make me miss xbox live. I hope Sony takes a firm stand on cheaters now that we are paying for it. I know some people might call me a rat but if I see someone breaking the T.O.U. I WILL report them. I am not paying $70 a game to be screwed over buy someone that can't hack it as a real gamer and is pathetic enough he needs to justify his existence by his K/D ratio. They can look at it as any means necessary but all I see is someone that just isn't as good the rest of us. Even if their K/D is a 1000/1 they are still a looser. deal with it!!!

Personally I also dont like it if someone using a modded controller with rapidfire in multiplayer games. Its often an unfair advantage.
However as has been said,it can only fire as fast as the games allows, but I have seen vids where rapidfire has been used on sniper rifles and no way can someone shoot that fast manually.
Its also an advantage with fully automatic guns where rapidfire can actually slow down the firing, hence being more accurate and conserving ammo.

BUT,as been said, while I dont approve of this in competitive multiplayer, its not actually hacking. In that I mean it's not actually hacking the game code so its not altering the game itself.Like lag switchers, these effect the game for everyone so is obviously cheating.Course you need to be the host of game for that to work.
So Id call modded controllers with rapidfire more of an unfair advantage, like screen targets can be too. (Screen targets are those stickers you stick on your TV for better accuracy for hip firing).

As for modded controllers that have lights and custom metal analog sticks for cosmectic purposes, well ofcourse there is no problem with those.

The problem is that your playing against people with rapid mods. So it depends if you want to be on even ground?

If you're not cheating, you're either not smart to enough to know how to or you are not trying hard. Cheating has it's place. This is one of them.

I'm waiting on my controller to come. A friend of mine ordered a few so I told him to add in a 3rd and now Im waiting for my own.
