Is there anything major missing from the PS4?

The more I think about it the less I care about those excluded features, like being able to switch out with a friend.

I can't think of a situation where I would actual use these features..

Me either really. Besides I only have one PSN friend, and she lives with me lol

Media Features

I'm a patient person (I did buy a PS4 without games as I knew the good games would be coming in Summers) but I was really hoping for the media fixes. In the meantime, PS3 remains my media console of choice.

I agree with this in terms of the fact that i dont really have a problem with waiting.
Its just i hope they get around to sorting it out eventually!

It would be a good feature for a lot of other people though who really want this to be put into the console!
I think they should stick to what they promised and try and push this update out as soon as possible.

Yeah me neither. I don't really see the need of it. I really don't need to see my friends struggle through a level in Bloodborne for 30 minutes, take over, then probably be worse at it and have them get mad at me. That's just my opinion though. Media playback is the only biggie for me right now.

What's missing the most for me is the option to pause/resume downloads. I don't really get why Sony didn't have this included. I'd like to choose what I want to download instead of downloading everything. I know there's a workaround but something so simple shouldn't need a workaround in the first place.

Are you saying you wouldn't want to share games with your friends? Because even if you don't like the idea of switching out with a friend, being able to share a game so that you can play together is a great idea, which they've dropped for no reason.

As someone previously stated I would not mind having at least one or two more USB ports for simple convenience and I'm still waiting for a nice big log of games but otherwise I think it's a pretty solid system that doesn't need a whole lot of improvements.

I'm not running no video game soup kitchen! People can buy a game if they want to play with me.

External drive support. 2.5" internals are too limited atm.

And some usb3.0 ports on the back to make external drive connections not look ridiculous....unfortunately this won't be the case with current models.

I know the concept is new generation. We cant stay stuck on the same graphics and speed and all of the other specs forever that are associated with the ps3. I dont have a problem with it not being backwards compatible.
