Last of Us, Destiny, or GTA V?

Which game should I pre order? There is no doubt that I will enjoy any of these games, but its just a matter of which one to get for now? Getting more than one is not an option. Also, I have not played The Last of Us or GTA V on last gen consoles. But there are also so many other games I want too, like The Evil Within, Borderlands Pre Sequel, Evolve, Alien Isolation, Batman Arkham Knight... Oh man... So many games...

I havent played Destiny or The Last of US but I would still say since you havent played all 3 I suggest GTA V!

However take these into account:
Which SP campaign lasts the longest?
Which MP interests you more?
Which style of game interests you more?

As I said,since I have'nt played the other 2 and going from what Ive seen and read I pick them in this order.

1.GTA V
2.The Last of US
3.Destiny

I may change my mind once I play the other 2 though so stay tuned

I'm really looking forward to Destiny. The other two have been out for some time, just not on ps4. I guess my list would be:
1 Destiny
2 GTA 5 - I haven't played it yet, and it seems like better ps4 graphics could add a lot to the open world experience.
3 Last of Us - great game, but played it on ps3 and I don't see any need for slightly improved graphics. The great part was the story. I didn't care much for the gameplay (particularly the shooting parts).

I think my list also holds for the value of the multiplayer experience in each game.

Destiny and GTA V will last you longer than TLoU (although it's MP is pretty good). It really depends on what you like. If you ask me, I'd get Destiny since we don't know what it'll be like and the beta is out in a couple of days. GTA V and TLoU are ports, so we know how it's generally going to play.

I would say GTA V should be the obvious choice and Destiny comes second. I'm not really sold on the The Last of Us hype, but I don't doubt it's a good game, just not as good as people make it out to be. Since you said buying more than one is not an option I think GTA V should be your choice, because you will get the most gameplay out of it for sure.

I loved GTA 5 but I also loved the Last Of Us. I would tell you that you should try to get GTA 5 first and then when you are finished with that you should get the Last Of Us and then when you have completed that then you should think about getting destiny. Honestly to me though I think that any one of them that you get first you would really enjoy each of them so it is a matter of whatever you feel, but for sure GTA 5 first.

The thing some of you are taking in to account is your own experience. Even though say you played gta or lou on ps3 doesn't mean op can't. Personally The Last of Us is my game of the year and even though I love GTA too, I just have a better emotional attachment to TLOU.

Here's how I see it (not giving an order just thoughts):

GTA - If you want an open world complete game with loads of things to do. Decent story and good gameplay, it's GTA what do you expect.
TLOU - Amazing story and good graphics, sound is awesome and there are loads of twists and emotional parts too it. If you want either of these quickly, this is your game.
Destiny - Not sure tbh as it isn't out, looks solid and the concept is quite cool but I just feel the gameplay is going to be generic, maybe wait for reviews.

I guess it really depends on your own preferences. TLoU and GTA5 were both really well received so you probably won't go wrong with either. You're really the only one who can make that call. It's comparing apples and oranges.

I guess what you need to ask yourself is what type of game you feel like playing most. If you feel like playing a free roam, sandbox type of game then Grand Theft Auto V is the game you want. If you happen to feel like playing a Halo like game, Then you should choose Destiny. Finally, If you don't feel like playing either of those types of games than pick up The Last of us.

Depends on the kind of games you like TC. If you enjoy multiplayer a lot than pick either GTA V or Destiny. If you prefer games that are story driven then pick either GTA V or The Last of Us. Actually all three have multiplayer with Destiny mainly focusing on it. If you like FPS more, pick Destiny. Alas, if you want third person go with either GTA V or TLoU. If you will be getting the other games that you mentioned(Evil Within, Batman, and etc.) then I suggest getting whichever one that is less(SP or MP).

I dont play GTA. I have the last of us and it's not great in my opinion. I want to try Destiny. I've heard it's decent and has great replay value.

To me, Destiny feels a bit like Borderlands, which I like. It has nice feeling guns, and the sound design is awesome. The world is huge, and I can't wait for the full release.

I'll be getting Grand Theft Auto V on PC, but I really enjoyed the Online and Campaign of it on PS3, I think it deserved Game of The Year.

Believe it or not, I don't have Last Of Us. I played a bit of it with my friend, but with DayZ and State of Decay, I never felt like I needed it. After all the hype and raving critics, I might buy the remastered edition.

All of those are really good games so I guess whichever one you pre order you will enjoy it somehow. But I would bet on GTA V first and then Destiny (which is out already) and then the rest will follow.

I'd say take $18 and invest in a Gamefly account for one month. Spend 10 days playing GTA V, return it, spend 10 days on Last of Us, return it, and then spend 10 days on Destiny. Simple solution, and then you only need to get another 20 bucks to get the game of your choice. Simple solution.
