The Last of Us Gets New DLC: The Grit and Gear Bundle/Professional Sports Bundle

Only a week after the release of TLoU remastered on PS4 Naughty Dog has launched new content for both versions.

The Grit and Gear Bundle includes six headgear items for $7. Naughty Dog points out that each bundle features an exclusive item that can only be had through the bundle. New gestures (at left) are also available today, as part of a $2.49 bundle.

That's not the end of The Last of Us DLC, however. Next week, Naughty Dog will release another headgear pack, the Professional Sports Bundle. This content will also be available for PS3 and PS4. Looking further out, the developer teased that another expansion with new maps and weapons will be released "two weeks from now." This is likely the multiplayer expansion Naughty Dog announced last month.

The Last of Us Remastered does not offer a DLC pass, though it does include the Left Behind single-player add-on and multiplayer expansions Abandoned Territories and Reclaimed Territories.

Seems some fans are not happy about this.
What do you think? I mean the remastered version is just released and now there is new DLC which you will also have to pay for,should want it that is ofcourse.

I never purchased a DLC. Its just not in my culture.

ND do this sort of thing all the time. Uncharted 3 i had the season pass, but they make SOOOO many headgear add on's for customization they never included them in the price. The same thing with the last of us.

I haven't got an issue with them doing this, but i do have an issue with the timing of releasing this DLC just a week after the game. It does come across as penny pinching

I honestly don't care about DLC. I'm more into the story. Not my thing.

God this DLC is stupid. Something like this should have been included in the Remastered edition, they purposely waited it out to release this. $7 for head items is bad value, not the worst DLC ever but come on, what sort of hype is there around paying to change your head....

I think they confirmed no more single player additional content will be made. A shame because they could have explored many areas of this world which would then mean a sequel wouldn't need to be made and more single player content is what people want more which is a shame. Just going to have to wait for the sequel which is obviously in development.
