Ps4 with computer monitor ?

Ok so I would like to hook my second ps4 up to my monitor. The only problem is it only has dvi and the ps4 is hdmi. Is there a cable that converts the two to hook up together? I am not worried about sound because my gaming headset will take care of that or my reciver amp if I don't feel like wearing my headset. Any help will be great thanks in advance.

Yes. Get an hdmi to dvi cord. Obviously this won't do audio so you'll likely need to go through a stereo reciever that has hdmi in/out to get audio.

All the same. Hdmi is a digital signal. The $3 dollarstore cord will look just as good as the geek squad $80 cord.

One thing to be cautioned though is that the PS4 is known to be quite touchy when it comes to display outputs. If you're going to get one of them converters, it'd be wise for you to ask around on which ones will work. I've seen a lot of people say that hdmi to dvi converters don't work on the PS4.

I've heard the same thing. My friend had to get a slightly more expensive HDMI to DVI cord because the cheaper ones wouldn't work. You might get lucky, but if you experience issues with the first cord, then you might have to give a few of them a shot before finding one that actually works consistently.

Thanks guys!
I was thinking to my ps3 days I bought a cheapo one for about $10 and it worked great, I assumed the same for the ps4

So best buy and walmart didn't have anything. Any place online I should check out? Amazon has so many I don't know what to choose

Yeah I agree that you can get one from Newegg if you can't choose from Amazon. I like shopping from Newegg at times, but you can even try ebay if you want too I guess. Um you can try walmart online too because walmart usually has things online that are not in the store.

I just want to make sure I get the right cable the first time around. I've read so many reviews on amazon and they go both ways. (Good and Bad) about the brands or if they work. Just not sure. I'll check out walmart.com also.
