What kind of game are you hoping will come out on PS4?

Something similar to (X), or something completely new and different? What elements are you looking for in new releases?


I'm hoping for something similar to Skyrim. I haven't really gotten to experience a game like that, and I believe with some of the endless imagination and skills of the developers that they could come up with some really unique, fresh ideas.

I would like to see some "old school" type collections come. Something like games from Miday, Sega, Atari simple but fun.

I love the advanced graphics of todays games, but sometimes just want a simple Centipede, Pacman, Sonic, Defender game.

Also one of the slower RPG's like the old Might and Magic or Wizardry. I know many don't enjoy the slower paced games though.

I agree! It's a huge part of why I'm so excited for Unity - I want to test it out and see if they pull through/how these types of games are going to actually play out. They sound good in theory, but it all comes down to how they make it work (which I'm sure won't be an issue in the least). I feel like Unity will open the doors, and we'll get hit with quite a few games like that shortly thereafter.

I could totally go for a new God Of War, too. I never played the Bond games, and I'm a little iffy about any new COD games. With Ghosts being so bad that my friends are using them as coasters, and with me personally disliking Black Ops: II, I'm really hoping they pull it together in Advanced Warfare. I want to play different maps/games, but it's been hard, you know? I'll keep crossing my fingers, and hopefully something will come of it.

What game? Persona. I would like an open world Samurai game in the same vein as Elder Scrolls/Fallout as well.

I see. I haven't played it yet, can you tell me about it in terms of why you personally like it so much? I've been hearing a lot of praise for it from other gamers, but not so much in depth, and it takes me forever to get around to buying a game if I'm unsure about it.
