GTA V Online - Male or female avatar?

Just curious. Will you use a male or a female avatar, and why?

I've played it over one year on X360 with a female avatar. This is because my wife started the first online session and choose a female. I ended up liking those long legs bounching in front of my nose, so I kept it. Now with PS4 I am undecided though... :grin

If I get this game, I'll have a female character..... Like switching it a bit ..GTA V is going to be a tad bit different for the ps4 and Xbox one than before......

I've got one of each but my female avatar is like level 7 and my male one is well past level 100

Yes, this is the matter. I'd like to play as a male avatar but this means beginning from zero, while on X360 my level is around 150.

Dang! Level 150? I'd say stick with your character. Can't imagine how long that would of taken to get to.

I think they may give you the option to change your gender and appearance when you upgrade though. I know they added more customization, so they probably let you do whatever with your existing character, like that time when they gave everyone 1 redo after some big patch. I'm level 120 something on ps3, so I'll probably just try to make my ps4 character look even more like me in real life than he already does.

I don't remember exactly but it should be like six months or so. I found that Survival sessions are quite useful to get RP points quickly. If you play with skilled friends or you find some good fellows on the fly, it's easy to end round 10 and to obtain 2000+ RP points. Also playing during R* special events increases RPs. I remember last Xmas we all played for two days under the snow. It was really fun.

It would be great. I will be trying to move my avatar from X360 to PS4 though, my nickname isn't the same (it was already taken on PSN) so I have doubts I will be able to use it...

I believe your nickname that is displayed is just your PSN, whichever one that you transfer it to that is.

I think so too Xanj. Our datas should be stored in R*'s server. But you never know...

I'm still surprised they allow you to transfer it from 360 to PS4, but that is pretty awesome!

That's pretty funny man. I couldn't play as a chic tho. There are some creepy peeps out there that would always be trying to fake nail me and askin for my address and phone number. If I see a girl running around Los Santos, I'd like to think it was an actual girl playing the character. To each their own tho

I see you point but, you know... I suddenly quit the curiosity of those peeps by talking... blah blah my voice is something quite far from being a female voice, so... lol.
But it's true, I couldn't walk down LS streets without someone shotting my avatar every two minutes... just because I look like a woman. Cruel, cruel GTA :grin
