Is Destiny really that good?

I've been on level 24 for the last couple of weeks. Finally I hit level 25 last night. The game is wonderful, but I don't like one thing...
It's too repetitive. You do the same thing over and over again.... Enemies lurk in the same spots and the missions are just the same.... I get bored at times and so upset when I do a vanguard mission, then get directed to the same one I just did before lol.....
They need you add more content to the game and finding legendary items is a nightmare..... I've been fishing for weeks and finally found gloves and a sniper ( which I don't use that much).
Other than that I love the game. How far are you,?
In all honesty,i would give this game a 7/10.

Lol. Nope. I'm a virgin to this type of stuff. I got my ps4 a few months back and never owned a ps3 just played on one. So yeah I'm new you this scene. Loving every second of it though

This sums up my feelings, i loved the game and played nothing else for a couple of weeks then i became bored of the repetitiveness, i have left the save on the console and may give it another go in the future when they are dirt cheap second hand.

Edit to add - Loading takes too long, looking at your jump ship for a minute every time soon gets annoying.

Destiny isn't that good. I appreciate the classic combat and good graphics and mechanics of the game. They added a few cool features that made the game cool. But that isn't enough. I need more like dragon age inquisition.

I'm in the boat of "played the hell out of it because it was awesome, then got repetitive and I gave up" Destiny was how I found this site to begin with so I'm glad for that but after playing for many hours, achieving level 25, I gave up. Like the guy above said, the enemies are always in the same place and sometimes you do the exact same multiplayer events that you just did. It was the same on FFXIV but that seemed a bit different because it was an RPG and I'm used to grinding on those. Grinding on a FPS just feels off. As far as actual gunplay, it is fantastic, just got too boring. Probably doesn't help that all my real world friends have xbox one and I didn't have many people to play with.

100% agree. .

only i played Destiny on the XB1 and it wasn't any better there either, even with loads of friends. It was still boring after the Campaign was done and you got to near level 25.

In my opinion, it's a good game for kids but not for adults like myself.

Game is really good one. I enjoyed a lot this game.
