use 1 playstation plus account for all users on same PS4?

I cannot seem to achieve using 1 playstation plus membership between the separate users on my PS4.

I have my main playstation plus account under "user1". Then I have 2 more users on my PS4 (my kids).

I heard that I can share my playstation plus membership with the other 2 users on my PS4 (so that they can play online under their own user account).

However, I cannot seem to be able to do it.

Any help would be appreciated.

I do believe it requires seperate email accounts . To use the psn .
With separate users. That's how my girl anf I had to do it . Just make the ps4 the primary platform and it should work .
